Happy-ish with that asides from Gallagher on the wing and Bennett at FB. Reckon we’ll be seeing both all season long though so I best get used to it.

So were the players. Remember Roberts talking about how much quality he had and saying he'd go all the way in his career. Surprised at how very little he's gone on to achieve. Usually it's what's going on between the ears that separates the good from the very good/great.

Think I owe Williams a huge apology - he’s been a revelation at centre half. Fair play to the lad. Other positives were Downing, Lenihan and Johnson (mainly second half). Only real negatives for me were Gallagher and Arma - neither are wingers and the former should be playing up top or not at all. Anyway, onwards and upwards - let’s make it 3 from 3 at the weekend. Edit: missed Bennett as a negative at RB! Duh!
