  1. Yep. We’ve only scored in the first half at home 5 or 6 times in 21 games. Today is surely the day to come out firing - especially off the back of 3 wins.
  2. Or Bennett, or Williams pre-CB run?
  3. Good win - should have been by a heck of a lot more. Rub it in the Trotters wounds on Monday and then get some of the young lads on.
  4. Yep. The strikers head beat his leap and arms. Pitiful.
  5. Awful from Jason. Here we go...4 mins to hold on after being ridiculously comfortable.
  6. Graham header almost went in. Could be 5. We’re playing bloody well - they are terrible defensively.
  7. Get in. Fortunate there - GK should have stopped it. Great run from Travis - 100% a pen.
  8. No problem with the first 11 whatsoever. Furious at the bench though.
  9. That bench is embarrassing. Why on earth is it so defensively minded with no youngsters?
  10. I know they’re professionals but a Barca Ajax final would make it very tricky for De Jong and De Ligt (the latter should be announced at the end of the season so I hear). You’re right though - what a phenomenal team Ajax have built.
  11. Special mention to Darragh Lenihan too - he was absolutely outstanding.
  12. Jesus Christ where on earth has this performance come from?! Got to be up there with Hull for intensity, effort and overall performance. I got it completely wrong tonight so will hold my hands up. Fantastic stuff - let’s see more of the same for the final 5 games please.
  13. Yep. I know I’m cup half full where Rovers are concerned, but they’re going to nick this aren’t they. Haha!!!! Love it. What a bloody finish that is. Maybe that’s the way Joe - don’t whack the bugger - chip it in!
  14. Very disappointing not to be leading there. Bar that brain fart from Travis we’ve been very good. However, it’s yet another first half without a goal from us at Ewood. What’s that now - just 7 in 21 we've scored in?
  15. Good to see us on the front foot for once - we really need to make this domination count. Couple of observations; Bell is so bloody frustrating going forward - slows every move down. Dack working extremely hard but just not at it in front of goal yet again. Rothwell such an enigma - does the hard work but must be one of the worst finishers I’ve seen in a Rovers shirt. COYB, let’s make this count.
  16. Is Conway getting another new deal or something as this is becoming very concerning. His love for social media boy Bennett is infuriating too. I reckon Mount, Wilson and Lawrence will run riot tonight. 3 of our back 4 consists of Bennett, Williams and Bell FFS.
  17. I really don’t see how some of these lads can’t make it into our squad more regularly. The 1sts are hardly pulling up any trees, let’s be honest.
  18. It's infuriating because we all know how this goes with Del. Comes on, plays relatively steadily. Next match, starts, has a brain fart and ends up being at fault for a goal or two. Rinse and repeat every couple of weeks.
  19. The day has come when I firmly agree with you Mercer (please don't follow this up by predicting we'll hammer Derby tomorrow)!
  20. Jesus Christ, reading JHR's post really does hit home some of the dross we've been beaten by this season. Cannot wait for us to be safe(!) and the summer to be here - like pulling teeth watching Mowbray's men at the minute.
  21. Yep. He's already been banging on about how youthful and exciting they are ahead of tomorrow, so as you suggest, we can expect his 'warriors' to all take to the field in an effort to nullify them. I can foresee: Raya Nyambe Lenihan Williams Bell Smallwood Evans Conway Dack Bennett Graham IMO, this would be completely the wrong road to take. We haven't scored at home in the first half FIFTEEN TIMES this season. That is nearly bloody reason alone to pot the bloke - it's embarrassing and will make any push for season tickets laughable at this stage. Just got at 'em Tony - you'll be far more likely to get backing from the support if you do, rather than to be sh*t scared of them and to see us go down by a couple of goals at home. If we set up defensively and they score early doors (weekly occurrence at present) then we all know what will happen as when we fall behind we look like not scoring again this side of Christmas.
  22. Stoke had only won one in 12(?) before yesterday, so one in 8 will be no trouble for Frank and his boys. I fully expect us to be rolled well and truly over by 2 or 3 goals. Mount, Lawrence and Wilson could have a field day here.
  23. Bennet’s best position is in front of a keyboard.
