  1. They knew something that Nixon didn’t! I knew our season was goosed the second the fat red funster predicted a 6th finish.
  2. Aye - we have a bunch of mice.
  3. Agree on them all except for Bennett - I’d keep him as he’s a decent squad player. Not a regular starter though IMO.
  4. Three very fair suggestions and ones you would hope they’d at least be exploring. The problem I foresee is the ‘jobs for the lads’ mentality that seems to emanate from the top down. We’re also far too pally and nice on the field - again as a consequence of this. No real leadership, no one handing out rollockings when needed. It also surprisingly irked me seeing Williams just casually walking down the tunnel after being sent off - show some effing frustration. Aside from the recruitment aspect (supposedly we’re on this now - I’ll wait with bated breath as we’ll probably just see more former Boro, WBA or Cov players come in) - the other two you mention are problems that TM and co won’t even seemingly acknowledge let alone rectify which is hugely worrying.
  5. He’ll surely be out out with a facial injury for a while anyway...
  6. He’s not a leader either. I know he’s had a poor season in general too but the only one back there organising and shouting is Lenihan. CM needs to be stripped of the armband come the summer either way as he shouldn’t be a regular starter next season.
  7. Yep, agreed. Time for the Bennett love in at RB to end and Nyambe to come back in - square pegs square holes and all that.
  8. Weird how this is true for Nyambe yet not Williams and Bennett after several shockers in a row too: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17441498.tony-mowbray-on-the-absence-of-rovers-full-back-ryan-nyambe/
  9. Jesus wept that is a very concerning interview. As you say, hide the name and that could have come out of the trap of Keane or Coyle.
  10. So we’re going to be playing Nyambe and Mulgrew at centre half in all likelihood at Big Club. All while Paul Downing is on loan at Doncaster. Madness.
  11. Was going to say the same. What are you smoking Neo? They absolutely played us off the park and should have won about 10-1. Mikel was a different class as expected.
  12. The height counts for nothing as he’s scared to head the bloody ball.
  13. Bloody hell, you’re a growing lad Chaddy!
  14. I called it that you can’t play two cultured centre halves together nowadays. They’re the worst partnership I’ve seen in some time.
  15. I’ve just remembered that their two usual CB’s were out injured. Makes the first half non performance even more alarming.
  16. Mikel had our midfield two by the scruff of the neck first half. I still can’t get over that first 45 - just what the f*** was going on?
  17. Got what we deserved after that frankly pitiful first half performance. 4 losses on the bounce and 9 in 16 now - considering that we won 4 on the bounce during that time that is hugely concerning. Worrying times.
  18. Danny Graham. That was the chance!
  19. Mulgrew with the worst CB performance for us that I can remember. He simply cannot deal with the high ball.
  20. Or our social media manager.
  21. Graham’s header? Didn’t look like he touched it to me. Three subs at HT - I know we needed to change things but we’re an injury away from having 9 men.
  22. Laughable. We haven’t touched the ball once in their area let alone had a shot. Are you watching?
  23. Just posted in the match thread as a half goes that’s perhaps worse than anything even under Kean or Coyle. We haven’t touched it once in their area!!!
  24. Worse than anything under the Kean/Coyle days that half - and I ain’t joking.
  25. Genuine question - can anyone remember a worst half from us? Not a touch in their area. I’m struggling.
