Fair play to Liverpool, they were unbelievably good - especially when you consider they were without Salah and Firmino. Valverde is one God damn awful manager when his teams come under pressure though. A half decent manager would have had them through last night - one huge bottle job.

Very difficult to predict what’s going to happen here. I thought Raya was a shoe in as one of our ‘two’ next season with Jayson moving on, but I’m really not sure now. Given his public rollicking’s and now being dropped, perhaps Raya is off. I’d have him as number 2, competing with someone experienced who comes in.

I still cry tears of laughter when I recall that interview about a month ago where TM said he was itching to get him further up the pitch due to his fantastic crossing ability!

His love in of Bennett is infuriating. Doesn’t help when people dish out player of the year titles either - TM will feel very vindicated.
