How can you call it ‘decent’ when you’ve seen our subs bench against Reading? Poor would be more apt. Few days to turn it around yet, let’s hope it comes off.

Obviously relieved to get the point after a disastrous first half, but if we’re going to have a half decent season we can’t be giving goals away like we did, or end up being happy with 1 point at home to sides like Reading. TM needs to start Bennett in CM every week - he isn’t a winger and always excels in the middle of the Park. He also needs to drop one of his pets, Richie. Big few days ahead - we desperately need some quality to come through the door (even more so with Arma now injured) especially in the final third, to ensure that we can compete and don’t ever have to field another subs bench like that again.

Has there ever been three worse subs introduced for us than Nuttall, Samuel and Conway (appreciate the latter was good several years ago)?

We barely did that last season though Stuart - so can’t see it happening against Championship opposition. Really need some decent reinforcements.

This is the issue when we don’t have any natural width - likes of Armstrong need to go wide. I don’t think he’d be the second coming like some do, but hopefully we can get a Chapman in, or similar, to help us.

We all knew we needed a seasoned alternative to Graham. I know I’m harping on about it, but piss poor to be reliant on some loanee (we hope!) to provide competition/an alternative.

Why are we so f*cking lethargic when level? Mowbray never seems to get his teams to go for the throat; almost like he settles for points. Piss poor result which could come back to bite us at the end of the season. Then again, can we expect much more when we bring in diddly squat to improve the first 11. Very disappointed - it’s gonna be a long season folks.
