Not a chance Spurs will come in for Dack. He’ll have a crack at the Prem at some point I’m sure, but he lacks that turn of pace to be a top 6 player for me. It’s the bottom half PL boys we’ll have to watch out for come January IMO.

Agreed. If we can get him really match fit, and keep his focus and desire hot, then he’ll be head and shoulders above most in this division. Good win today - result was important rather than the performance with 3 very tough games coming up.

Pointing out the bleeding obvious but TM really needs to figure out how to set us up at home far more effectively. Our compact, counter attacking style works well away from home where we’re looking to keep it tight and grab a draw/win by the 1 goal, but it clearly ain’t working at home against superior opposition this season. I fear he’s made a bit of a rod for his own back though with his lack of width recruitment, but he still needs to go for it more with the likes of Rothwell and Palmer.

100% agree. Got 0-0 or 1-0 Bolton written all over it. Mowbray needs to mix it up a bit and get some of the underperforming promotion pack out of the side.

Evans is showing him up big time too; he has the most interceptions and ball recoveries in the Championship thus far, and is second in the rankings for tackles. Get somebody next to him who can play a bit and we’ll be laughing.

Bang on. People kept saying when we had a fully fit team he’d be nowhere near the squad. Yet here we are, only Dack missing from our attacking options and we’re throwing him on trying to salvage something. He isn’t bloody good enough and as you rightly say, this man made situation is piss poor from the management.

Seemed like it was Bauer or nobody with regards to a centre half (until Rodwell came along). Bauer was the physical, no nonsense bugger we needed. Rodwell is a ball playing centre half, when we don’t need two Charlie’s.

For most clubs it’s the norm ie taking a punt on potential, but when you have spent eff all for donkeys years it’s a bloody gamble and a half.

Dack needs to get his head down and focus more, that’s obvious. There’s a reason why it was just us who took a punt on him. Is he still going out with that bint or has she moved on to a new social media celeb? More worrying is TM’s persistence with certain players as I said earlier. Get Smallwood for starters out of that side and pair Bennett, Reed or dare I say it, Rodwell, with Evans, and we’ll improve the side overnight. Team need to come out firing against Villa after that sh!t show of a second half. No excuses.
