  1. He'll know the game is up after today. Only remains to be seen whether he's here next season. I'd wager no.
  2. The only things Coyle could organise were the table tennis tournies and doughnut eating championships. The players probably feel like footballers once again.
  3. As others have said, you have too much time on your hands. Delighted with the start that Tony has managed, and always more than happy to eat my own words if it benefits Rovers.
  4. I asked the LET chap that exact question on Twitter and alas no response. Anybody know what Mowbray has been like in promoting youth at this other clubs?
  5. Lowe Assistant with Dunn promoted to first team coach. Talk about @#/? cost cutting!!!
  6. What the @#/?ety @#/?? Awful appointment but I shouldn't be surprised. At least I won't be able to understand his interviews.
  7. All we need to do is 'keep winning games' according to Marv: http://mobile.rovers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/blackburn-rovers-marvin-emnes-queens-park-rangers-3555257.aspx That's alright then. There was I thinking we'd only won one game in eleven in the league, but I must be wrong. We've also been terribly 'unlucky'. Coyle's hyperbole rubbing off big time on the players it would seem.
  8. Surprising isn't it? Mercer is usually bang on the money...
  9. Surely, surely, a club on the brink would make the odd small investment in the hope of staying up. Not us. Which is why it stinks to the high heavens.
  10. Perhaps he's another due a raise when he plays x number of games. Strange how he can't get a look in with the dross we have on the wing.
  11. Agreed. Management's determination to not attempt to win games would back the theory.
  12. Agreed, an upgraded Jordan Rhodes if you will. He must have worked on his strength too, one would imagine, to be linked with the Prem for big bucks.
  13. Kalinic rumoured to be off to China in a megabucks deal, while Barca are sniffing round N'Zonzi. Sometimes the grass is greener eh.
  14. The 20 or so in our squad right now with Captain Marvel leading the way. End of thread.
  15. Good to see that some others have grasped the reality of our situation. Unless we go on a run very soon it's beginning to look like three from Rotherham, Wigan, us and Forest. Derby, Cardiff and Wolves have more than enough about 'em to get out of trouble, whilst we're 5 and 7 points behind the pre-season fav's for the drop in Burton and Barnsley respectively. The writing is on the wall I'm afraid ladies and gents. I should know better but I can't believe that following yesterday's game some are peddling the line 'if we play like that for the rest of the season then we'll be fine'. Firstly, we won't play like that every week, and secondly we still bloody lost!
  16. We've barely played any of the big boys yet. With Villa and Cardiff certs to pull away in the coming days I just cannot see a way out for us.
  17. You can tell when the wee gem lies - his lips move.
  18. Following MK's result tonight can we just void our results for the remainder of the season? It's not fun for anyone right now.
  19. I completely agree that we must win on Tuesday but after watching Fulham today I can see it being a tall order. Dembele and McCormack will be licking their lips at the prospect of coming up against our powder puff pansies.
  20. 9 league games without a win. 3 goals scored in those 9 games. No clean sheet in 8. Terrible fixture list ahead. Our only consistent goal scorer sold. I for one would describe this as squeaky bum time.
  21. Lambert summed it up when he said mediocrity had been accepted for far too long at the club. Although results have been largely unimpressive since he joined it's refreshing to hear a manager be unhappy with draws.
  22. Dunn seems to rate Rankin-Costello very highly Parson. What's your take on him?
  23. I admire your confidence but I think we're all in agreement that we desperately need a league win. If this winless run keeps up for much longer than it will most definitely become squeaky bum time.
  24. Fantastic player. Loved watching him and I doubt we'll see another of his ilk in a Rovers shirt. Unplayable on his day and worth the entrance fee alone. Wish him well for the future.
