Vaughan and Beckford showed Shittu for what he really is on Saturday when they destoryed him. A beast in the air, but sloppy on the deck. And as Alex Rover pointed out, planting it to his head for 180 minutes non-stop was never going to lead to a goal. If we could get Kane on loan next season then Kane/Henley at full back (I'm guessing Martin Olsson will leave) would be quite a combination. Liking the sound of Williamson too - one thing that we can thank Appleton for.

Wow, quite surprised at this. As I said earlier he has to start every game for the rest of the season. He can then leave with his head held high. Kane, Hanley, Dann and Givet at the back is some back line for this division.

Givet's performance begs the question, why the hell has he not been playing left back instead of Morris? He must stay in the side from here on, even if its there.
