Dont know how true it is but the mirror says that Sav is out for a month and where as I wouldn't usually believe them they broke the Nelsen story first. -

Cheers Cocker, I'm pretty useless with Comps obviously. I think that due to the demand on the si games forums that the patch should be out sooner rather than later. -

I hope the new patch does come out soon. It's indeed a quality game but like people are saying-certain bugs are really annoying and take the gloss off a fine game. Just a quick question, I play footie man on my laptop-which has no internet connection...so basically what could I do to get the patch on my laptop when it does come out without installing internet software? -

I can only echo the comments on Neils marking. After the way Liverpool scored against us last weekend you would like to have thought that was the one way that we wouldn't have conceded in this match. Unfortunately for us the four major turning points went against us-and when this happens lady luck really isn't on your side! On a sidenote how do people think Nonda is settling in for us? -

Gutted We're going to need to start scoring more goals this season if we are to achieve last seasons position (to point out the obvious)....God knows how low Roberts' morale is going to be now. Shall we try and resign Dickov for penalties only? Oh how I hate Bolton. -

Ive been getting loads of injuries with Rovers too...Savage for two months, Bentley two months, Roberts constantly has a virus or something!! Im doing okay, played 5 won two, drew two and lost one....with the highlight being a win at old trafford. I got Warnock in on loan, Tottenhams Korean left back and Hedwiges Maduro from Ajax...also have Figo coming in Jan. Overall though it looks a quality game and my social life looks like taking a major nosedive! -

Two of our first names on the team sheet wiped out until Feb at the earliest. We really, really need to avoid injuries to the midfield now. Blooming hell, Dhorosoo anyone? Get well soon Reidy! -

He's done it twice now, once for the under 21's and last season for Newcastle where he got sent off. You've gotta feel for him at Newcastle-getting kept out of the first 11 by Craig Moore and Titus Bramble is enough to wreck any young lads career!! -

I'd be extremely annoyed and at a loss to explain why if Lucas did join Newcastle. Duff, Owen, Emre etc will no doubt be regretting their moves North, and I'm confident that Neill would join them in his evaluation. I said to my mates at the start of the season that Roeder would be gone by the end of the campaign, and I still think that I'll be proved right....that job is cursed! -

I don't see how we can be conservative in their use though? (aside from resting them in Carling Cup games etc). Our only real other option is to play Mokoena...I hope that the signing of a central midfielder in January will not be too late. I would like to think however that Hughes believes he has options, because where as most of us thought that we were short in that department he obviously didn't. -
Thing is, Ryan's not only coming back from this injury-but he also broke his leg at Charlton didn't he? Only a small break-but still a break. Sorry for being pessimistic here, but it may take quite some time-if ever-before we see the Admiral back to his best.

It's becoming ludicrous that players are having to fly so far for midweek games and then expected to play on the Saturday. Benny Mac has the right idea! Remember this time last year we were saying that we'd never win at OT...and we did. Liverpool 1 Rovers 2 -

On one hand fair play to hughes for still not giving up hope of persuading him to stay...but on the other swallow that pride Hughesey and give the captaincy to a more suitable candidate. -

I think we should all reserve judgement on crouch's England career until he's scoring consistently against worthy opposition. He's done very well for us, but he's not going to be playing against Jamaica et al every week. Tonight will be a big test for him. -

Ive just seen the Bentley debate on another thread, and I really think that there's no way he would have been dropped-especially given that he was their motm scoring two goals only a couple of games ago? I could also have sworn that he was in the original squad when the news of their sqaud first broke, so unless he is injured it certainly is strange! -

Apologies if it's been asked, but why wasn't Bentley in the under 21's last week? He also has been taken off the squad list on the FA site. -

You appear to be right Dave. Neeskins also said that "Rijkaard is watching him very closely". Straight swap for Puyol or Marquez maybe? -

I think only a few are saying 'drop him'. I say take the armband off him NOW before it does more harm than good. Lucas has proved he gives his all in a Rovers shirt and until weve got anybody better to play left back he has to stay there. Wait til January and get rid! -

I may be re-stating my comments from earlier-but after actually reading what he said Lucas definitely needs that armband taken off him. I know Hughes will look a bit of a fool, but perhaps taking the armband off Lucas is best for the club now. For youngsters coming through our club, and for the younger players in our team-it hardly shows ambition that our Club Captain desperately wants out. It's become obvious that he was given the armband in an attempt to change his mind...and it is not working. Don't get me wrong, as i said earlier he's giving 110%, but captain? No way. -

How dare you Cocker... Or plucking a Belarusian Hotshot (rigged player) from a league of obscurity to go on and bang in 40 league goals per season! On a final note I wish they would take Savage off 48k a week. He's a good player on the game-but I always have to get rid of him because of his ludacris wage. -

Whilst Ive been very impressed with our wantaway skipper in the last few games...he really does shoot hiself in the foot sometimes. Its blatant that he wants out so why does he have to broadcast it in a press conference AGAIN?! I would like Neil to stay because he's a very good prem defender and it would take a lot of cash to replace him-but we need a worthy captain in my eyes, with the Admiral (obviously our club captain when fit), Friedel and Sav leading the way. -
