  1. It's a recurring theme though with the odd game being the exception (ie Bolton). Whoever said the board really need to back Hughes in January couldn't be more spot on.
  2. Sky just showed we had close to 60% of the ball second half. Why is it that we dominate possesion EVERY game and never back this up with good chances that the possesion should provide? Roberts' Meta-tarsel Broken
  3. I thought Gally and Peter were the only bright points from a miserable, miserable afternoon. After Basel our next 3 fixtures are Villa away, Utd and then Spurs home. Sav, Reid and Nelsen must've been cringing watching that. Sparky said before the game that he was interested to see how the 'squad' as a whole would do...I think he got a resounding answer.
  4. Humiliated. We could play all night and not score. Edit-Or not!!!
  5. Although West Ham have been average at best and as annoying as John Motson is I don't think we could argue if he said that Rovers have produced one of the worst footballing halves by a team this season-devoid of ideas, sloppy at the back, nobody tracking their players etc. We havent created one chance and McCarthy-who should be our biggest threat looks so disinterested it's untrue. Lets get at them!
  6. That is quite possibly the most uninspiring selection of players on the bench that I have ever seen Rovers have to put out. Man we need a central midfielder! Lets hope Sergio shows Gamst how it's done. Comon you blues!!
  7. I suppose fans up and down the country will moan like crazy about their own players' stats though-although I do agree with you!! The scousers on si games' myspace are constantly moaning about Sissoko and Kuyt being too low etc. I would however like some of MGP's stats to be given to Zura and Nelsen!...Despite Benny not having the best stats he certainly knows where the net is!
  8. Forget what I said earlier Bucky Rover, Ive just found out shops in my home Town are selling since yesterday Pro for £30. Never ever am I pre-ordering games again as you just end up getting them for the same price at a later date!
  9. It's vitally important. If we lose this that will be 3 losses in a row with games in the league against Villa, Spurs and utd to come. Those 3 are probably aside from Chelsea, Bolton and Arsenal the 3 teams you wouldn't want to face right now...so Sunday really is a huge game.
  10. But you'l save nigh on 8 quid won't you? I knwo what you mean though-my Amazon Pro has yeah to be despatched.
  11. A solution to our central midfield yes, but we'd be screwed on right wing until Reid (who was never that great there) comes back. And also why move Bentley when he's finally found some form after all these years? Apparently Nonda and MGP have gone off injured Edit: Sorry Le Chuck just read it properly and seen that you agree that it's a gamble switching Bentley! Double Edit 2-0.You can't play a high line against Kalou and Robben especially with our pace at the back.
  12. I stand corrected!
  13. OPretty sure Flowers never got near to a Cantona pen-I could be wrong though?
  14. I think Pedersen too would be best. But I dread the outcome if he missed...he'd get lynched!
  15. I think it's important-despite it being an opportunity to rest a few players-that we don't get stuck in a losing streak. We have four very tricky fixtures in the league to come up so it's imperative that morale in the squad is high. Oh and how great would it be to beat Chelsea and to see Jose declaring that they didn't want to win it anyway?
  16. Isn't Upton a bogie ground for us? And also despite us being so hard to beat under Hughes were always the team to play when you need to break a duck, so like many others despite them not scoring for over 11 hours: West Ham 2 Tevez, Harewood Rovers 1 Nonda
  17. Sky sports believe that Neil has turned down another new contract.
  18. Dont know how true it is but the mirror says that Sav is out for a month and where as I wouldn't usually believe them they broke the Nelsen story first.
  19. Cheers Cocker, I'm pretty useless with Comps obviously. I think that due to the demand on the si games forums that the patch should be out sooner rather than later.
  20. I hope the new patch does come out soon. It's indeed a quality game but like people are saying-certain bugs are really annoying and take the gloss off a fine game. Just a quick question, I play footie man on my laptop-which has no internet connection...so basically what could I do to get the patch on my laptop when it does come out without installing internet software?
  21. I can only echo the comments on Neils marking. After the way Liverpool scored against us last weekend you would like to have thought that was the one way that we wouldn't have conceded in this match. Unfortunately for us the four major turning points went against us-and when this happens lady luck really isn't on your side! On a sidenote how do people think Nonda is settling in for us?
  22. Gutted We're going to need to start scoring more goals this season if we are to achieve last seasons position (to point out the obvious)....God knows how low Roberts' morale is going to be now. Shall we try and resign Dickov for penalties only? Oh how I hate Bolton.
  23. Ive been getting loads of injuries with Rovers too...Savage for two months, Bentley two months, Roberts constantly has a virus or something!! Im doing okay, played 5 won two, drew two and lost one....with the highlight being a win at old trafford. I got Warnock in on loan, Tottenhams Korean left back and Hedwiges Maduro from Ajax...also have Figo coming in Jan. Overall though it looks a quality game and my social life looks like taking a major nosedive!
  24. I should really have asked this question before I ordered shouldn't I...ah well good things come to those who wait
  25. Has anybody ordered games off amazon before? Little anoyed that the games already out and Mines still awaiting to be dispatched
