  1. Quite scary that we have won 4 on the bounce at home, and still are only 8 points clear.

On the other hand, Im looking more up the table than down after recent performances.

It isn't just about 'still only being 8 points clear' though, the sheer number of teams between us and the bottom three has increased during our recent good run. We do not look like a relegation threatened side at all, and it would take an incredible set of results and an unforeseeable dip in form for us to finish in the bottom three (which tallies with the second half of your post)..

  2. no I meant exactly what I said in response to the previous post. But then you knew that, didn't you? I, unfortunately, did not have a team sheet and therefore did not comment on the players as I hadn't a clue who any of them were.

His dad, Alfie, always said he'd become an accomplished player.

On a serious note well done to the young Rovers, and to the die hards who braved the cold night to go and watch it.

  3. It was a cracking ball, but how the hell could Hazelwood have known better than the third umpire that there was a slight inside edge?

Their explanation was that the visuals on the big screen are low res and therefore the players couldn't see the hot spot replay properly and didn't pick up the clear mark on the bottom of the bat in the way that the third umpire would have been able to. Regardless, it was still very poor by both the Aussies there.
