Starc and Cummings are top bowlers without a doubt but if we can keep Wood, Stokes and Archer fit we can compete with them.

Its both difficult to argue with this particular point and also difficult to be too critical of Smith, given the runs he scored in both innings. But in the context of the game it was a pretty dumb way to lose your wicket.
