  1. I’m not really a fan of Spezials (either the shoes or the clothing) and much prefer the old school Adidas stuff.
I’m off to see From the Jam at Glasgow Barrowlands on Saturday and I’ll be wearing my trusty Adidas Japan trainers with a pair of Levi 510s and this top:

For the first time in 30 years of watching Rovers with my 76 year old Dad, he's suggested not going on Saturday and just going for a walk instead and turning his phone off, it's that bad. He's usually pretty pragmatic and optimistic even at the worst time, always siding with the players, but I think that second half finally did for him. After the match we both just stared into space over our pints.

Not felt this low for a very long time, it's a different kind of feeling - think it's the lack of hope or trust in anyone at the club from players to board level, feels like a truly lost cause.

A heartbreaking post, and I'm sure it is the way many of us are feeling right now mate.

But ultimately that goal is agains the rules if it is ruled out, so not valid goals.

Pre VAR there would hardly have been a murmur about that goal and that includes Utd fans. It was a marginal offside. Some will go for you and some against you. The ‘purity’ of decisions is simply not worth the removal of the spontaneity of the joy of celebrating a goal. If you have ever experienced it ‘live’ at a game it literally sucks all the enjoyment out of it. I’d scrap it tomorrow, with the exception of goal line technology, which gives an immediate decision.

Its one of them, you either accept considerably less accuracy in decisions and enjoy a "purer" game or you accept the delays and at times how slight the margins are in favour of much more accuracy.

He was offside at the end of the day. Just. Like some of the penalties JUST avoided hitting the post, like some goals JUST go over the line, tight margins but still there is a right and wrong decision.

Im not really buying into the conspiracy theories of purposely favouring teams, they could have easily ruled out the handball.

At the end of the day it is bad for the game. Not being able to properly celebrate a goal takes all the joy out of it for fans

WELL MAGGOT YOU COMPLETE COCKWOMBLE ...HOW DO YOU FEEL TONIGHT YOU COMPLETE BUFFOON . THIS LOSS IS ON YOUR SHIULDERS YOU FAT GREASY DICKHEAD. YOU CHANGED A NORMAL GAME INTO A WEDS CUP FINAL AND THERE PLAYERS ROSE TO IT AND OURS RABBITS IN HEADLIGHTS.IF ANYONE SITS DOWN AND TALKS HUMAN TO THIS SUBHUMAN AGAIN BLOCK ME

THIS RAT SHOULD BE HOUNDED OUT  HE IS TA KING THE PISS AND GETTING EXTREMELY RICH AT THE EXPENSE OF TRUE ROVERS FANS .

As someone else said - we would have lost today if it had been played behind closed doors. 7000 fans in the Darwen End didn’t make our goalkeeper lose his head. He has form for it I’m afraid. This one is on the players.

    Outthought and outfought.

Most of them are spineless, but special mentions to Brittain, Hyam and Gallagher.

Surprised you left the keeper off that list.

And not the first time he’s cost us games either by a long chalk. Brian Clough once said “nobody can lose you a game quicker than your goalkeeper” and there was a fella who knew what he was talking about!

You may understand my anger at the start now , can tell within the first 10 what rovers have turned up , we done nothing to win that game, everything to lose it.
can’t help but feeling negative when it’s a well worn script

I’m not a fan of knee jerk posting during games mate tbh. I’ve seen too many games turned on their heads in no time over the years. But that 3rd Wed goal today pretty much sums up our two keepers tbh. If we do get relegated you can definitely point to that position as a deciding factor.

When have we won a game that had everything riding on it under the Chicken Chokers ? Just name me one big game were we were under pressure for a result and we didn’t just lie down and die ?  Just one.

The club is rotten from top to bottom.

Wolves away and we almost fucked that up from 3-0 up!

Sheff W will finish above us now with 2 winnable games to come. If Birmingham get anything at Huddersfield next week then are done. They will beat Norwich on the final day as they'll already be in the play offs.

Last week we looked safe, now we look like a decent bet to go down.

Let’s all pray for Cov to beat Man Utd later

Different era, different team , not really comparable with todays mob.

ps we might be on level terms but it’s still a poor half of football from us, which you can usually tell from the first 5 minutes what mood we are in. Can’t say it’s not a valid point

    But still football.

Not necessarily aimed at you because you are normally an excellent poster but folk should probably refrain from hyperbolic posts during games. One poster was absolutely berating Rovers after 20 mins at Sunderland recently and within 5 minutes we were 2-0 up.

This second half will be interesting with both teams shooting towards their own fans

I said before the game I thought we would lose, what from history tells you differently, we don’t show up when we should/need to win. So wheest

I remember being in the Blackburn end in the play off semi final first leg v Derby and when Tommy Johnson made it 2-0 to Derby after about ten minutes some knob offered his tickets to the second leg free to any takers. I took them.

    So ‘wheest’ yourself.

Johnston only on loan with them from Celtic .

    Looks a real talent

He’s got a lot of talent but can’t follow simple instructions at times, which is why he was shipped out on loan to learn from his mistakes at another club’s expense. Chris Sutton used to tear his hair out on commentary at the lad.
