Not Pears fault if he is picked. He has his moments, I would prefer a better keeper but JDT is seeing both of them in training and if Leo is weaker then it is a catastrophe for our transfer window. -

You think JRC is that much better than Brittan? I am not so sure, I do like him but I think Brittan is the better fullback. I also think we should be playing a mid field 3 to really unlock Wharton as a playmaker, rather than leaving him isolated and having to chase back and defend. Whcih to be fair he just doesn't do. -

In my opinion we need Trondstat to be a success. We have proved we can get goals but we are a shambles at the back. -

Not strictly relevent, but that song was written by the director's 15 year old son, Michael. Robert went on to say his son earned 13 times more for the song than his father received for the movie. A lesson for looking to the future than the present? Please...I need something. -

Can we repurpose him as a centre forward? -

Not in that much danger of being injured jogging around for a bit and standing watching the opposition with the ball. He looked fantastic last season, but that languid style has degenerated into lazyness as far as I can see. -

On the evidence of his first appearance, JDT seems to have decided he couldn't kick snow off a rope. Pretty disappointing considering his pedegree. -

If Wharton is going to play the role you are talking about he needs a third body in there. He is not working hard enough to perform in a two. I don't think anyone is expecting every pass to split the opposition, but too many of his passes are going straight to the other team and putting us under pressure. He is jogging back when our defenders are under pressure. We need someone sitting in front of the back 4 to allow Wharton to have more options with a pass and also to mop up and cover for his lack of workrate. The problem with 3 in midfield is how to you acommodate Sammy? can he play on the the wing? or do you try and push him forward to play as a striker? not sure either of them are realistic options. We appear to have painted ourselves into a corner and JDT needs to figure this out quickly -

Id rather we went 3 in midfield than 3 at the back, that just invites pressure. -

Harsh, there keeper has pulled off a bit of a worldie. But how good is he with the ball at his feet like our lad.
