  1. Hedges is crap, I warned against this when signed having seen him from Aberdeen. We need better.

pears is crap and chaddy I warned against this for ages, he has and will continue to cost us points. He should never be our number 1.

Jdt is going full on Owen coyle these days, yes we can score but we can’t keep them out and looks far too easy for the opposition. Concerning

They’ve looked pretty ordinary to me. Penalty and a swipe from the edge of the area through loads of bodies.
Open game and they’re controlling it well now, but I think that’s mainly down to just how useless our 11 on the pitch are, I can count at least 5 that are league 1 at best.

Certainly got more on a downward trajectory than an upper one these days

just enjoy the 3 points and the fact we are creating really good attacking play

telalovic is nothing like markanday,he`s a lot bigger and a lot quicker, you can`t expect him to start ripping up the division when he`s barely played first team football and not at all in england

Obviously I didn’t mean he was like for like style of markanday , I meant it was a similar market , trying to convince us he was our long term striker target is laughable.

if you read my post I said it’s always nice to get a win (3 points) but you know that a Plymouth or rotherham type is just waiting next game, we have no ability to go on a run. It’s a win one lose one kinda season for us

  4. Yea always nice for a Saturday win, what I feel though performance wise , we are a mid table champ team , and that’s where we will finish, when we have a venkycap holiding us back it’s prettt much all we can ask for.

perfect example being our much searched for and anticipated striker is basically a markanday of Germany. A project is fine if it’s in addition to a well known and respected striker but it’s galling to expect him to come in as anything close to a finished article to this league

  5. Dolan and gallagher really aren’t scapegoated here as some are suggesting, think they have both been given plenty of time and patience by fans but neither are particularly good at the role they have in the team

i have long stuck up for gallagher but he never looks like he knows where to be to score goals, I can’t fault the effort from the lad and he has other uses

dolan is just limited but again he has been given plenty of time to be a regular, he hasn’t nailed it, it’s time to part ways imo

  6. Brittain was excellent as well , upgrade on Pickering despite playing on the wrong side.
Carter and hyam didn’t put a foot wrong. Rankin Costello seems a bit subdued but solid enough

One of the poorer games for Adam wharton but still oozes class , need to mop up a bit of complacency at times

Sammy worked hard with what little he had

as I said at the start of the season, Dolan and Leonard not good enough at this time

  7. Great result

defence we’re epic to a man.

I have been big critics of pears and hedges but they both had great games today

still red flags over the performance would be my only Debbie downer comment, if we play like that we lose 9/10. But we will take it and hopefully add some quality to the squad this week to make it less smash n grabby

It's certainly a concern. Feels like we're missing some vital leadership and experience at the back - probably why we've been trying to get someone like Batth in. I think Hyam is a solid enough CB, but you do wonder if he needs a more experienced head beside him to get the best out of him. You'd ideally like him to to be fulfilling that role at 27, but I'm not sure he's vocal enough to lead the back line.

    Ciaran Clark for me

As someone else noted. Must say I admired Hull respecting and joining in with Jack Walkers round off applause before the game and during the 23rd minute. Respect for the  away  fans to all clapping like they were both times.

They were respectful last season as well, when we had another clap for somebody- sorry excuse my ignorance but I can’t remember who. Went up in my estimation however. They have had their own issues so generally don’t have any bad feeling towards them, just a bit of a kick in the teeth today

    The new Speedie?

Could Todd play the style of play we do?

Yes we need 1 or 2 experience players but more important we need quality signings that fit into our style of play under JDT.

If the 19 years old is the best penalty taker on the field at the time then he should take it

What style does a no nonsense centre back need to have chaddy, his job is to defend
