who says the price would have been any Rovers had their asking price and Luton met it.

Why would Luton been less inclined to come for Kaminski regarding of his team status. If Luton want him they would have come and got him. They have PL football and that the biggest attraction for Kaminski. You act like Kaminski should have turned down a move to PL and chance to play in the best league in the world to stay at Rovers.

Not saying that at all, but had he still been number 1 I don’t think he would have been in such a desire to leave. Luton were looking at every keeper who was available, if one wasn’t I don’t think they would have been looking at him.
he was wrongly benched for a less talented keeper- one which you endorsed and it cost us

PL football vs Championship football plus it might the only chance to play Premier League football. Who at his age would really turn that move down to stay at Championship club. Simple decision for TK.

BUT Chaddy listen!! It’s fair enough when he has the choice but had he been number 1 that chance may never have came up. Listen to what I’m saying. Luton would be less inclined to come in for a number 1 than a supposedly back up keeper. Our price would probably have been double

I just don't agree with your point. I don't think Kaminski not playing last season after his injury played zero part in him wanting to leave for PL football with Luton. Playing PL football is what the biggest attraction for any player.

    Right decision by Rovers.

But can you at least acknowledge that maybe had he still been number 1 that might not have been an option

He was always going to go all summer only because he was no longer number one.

You have no idea whether he would have wanted to go had he played the end of last season. You also have no idea how much we 'encouraged' bids for him.

His 'exit' was planned by Greggy boy. I had hoped our much-vaunted European Scouting Network had found a suitable replacement on the cheap but it seems not to be.

Absolutely, don’t understand why you aren’t grasping this point chaddy.

yes once kaminski hadn’t regained number 1 and there was then interest from Luton he wanted to go, which was fair enough.

had he came back in as number 1 , would he still have wanted to go, would Luton be prepared to pay for our number 1

    we can’t say.
but it certainly isn’t as easy as Luton wanted him, he wanted away

on Wharton, I still think it’s a red, I try and be non biased on rovers and had it been the other way then I wouldn’t have certainly been calling for a red. At best he takes man and ball at same time , from behind. Can’t do that

on a cheap experienced cover, wonder if Man Utd would be prepared to give us Heaton in January for a final hurrah. Always rated him

  5. Well ideally I wouldn’t have had pears as number 1, I wouldn’t have gave him a contract and I would have at least asked the question if anyone would pick him up- sure Tony might have been persuaded, as it was we pissed off our best keeper and self inflicted our own demise

there is usually a taker for a keeper , we have had some dog awful ones and they have always found a club

  6. Get that kaminski was sold for money but it wasn’t mega bucks and then spent about 1/3 of it on Leo.

I would have sold pears and Leo kaminski with Hilton as back up.

for those saying it’s because he wanted out, that was only because he bafflingly lost his place to pears , can’t persuade me that it didn’t cost us the playoffs

  7. I think Wharton was a red tbh, as much as I would like to say he was hard done by, last man and he took the player from behind, if he wasn’t going to get the ball I’d rather he just let the Norwich player through , after that we were under the cosh but defence coped well albeit a few nervy moments. A better tactician would have got Norwich wide and whipping balls on top of Leo , I’m really rooting for him to be good but he really needs to sort out his crossing as that just invites panic. Why oh why did we bin kaminski
