Well it’s the supporters that have been taken in for Tony for too long I feel sorry for. Not really much pleasure out of it but I was calling for a change in manager half way through league 1 and I still say Tony isn’t the man for this task. Next season I see nothing but more frustration, same mistakes and Tony giving the fans more lip service that they lap up and insist he knows what he is doing and is a man of the people. Floundering around 15th all season is my prediction

Raya single handily throw away points for us last season by silly errors and poor judgement/ temperament. He has been given years now to make the position his own, can’t say he hasn’t been given the chance and yet there is still massive question marks on him. He needed a stronger year last season and he didn’t have it, next!

Sorry mate I don’t think we can afford to go and get a Becker. We are swimming in the pool of unwanted/ untested/ question marks on recent seasons hoping a move sparks them. He is undoubtedly talented and better than raya on his day

Iv been negative on mowbray since our league 1 campaign and this summer is doing nothing to appease me. Yes I know it’s fairly early but even those being linked don’t excite me. Frank fielding, Stewart downing, Grant Hanley ffs, it’s going to be a long season

I can’t comment on his time at Hamburg only rangers and he didn’t look up to much. Can’t even get in our Scotland team which is horrific for central defenders. I really think we should be looking elsewhere for central defence than Scotland . It’s our weakest area

If a player is going to be moving, uprooting their family, they will want things moved quickly for school terms and settling into the area, never mind settling in with new team. I’d say the argument can go both ways. I know if I was moving work I’d want it done quickly

I may be old school but I like my summer signings to be done early, it makes it look like it’s organised and some thought has went into it backing into last season rather than the mad panic and taking what’s available option of waiting until deadline day. Doing it early also gets the new players time to gel with current squad and make us ready for the start of the season, which we haven’t looked like being for ages now
