Yawn... Will we find enough in the tank to overcome the Knobbers? Dunno why, but I have a feeling this will be the start of the traditional seasonal unwinding of Rovers' form at this stage of the season. Perhaps we will score an early goal and go on to press home advantage, but it would be no surprise (to me) if we capitulate late on and go on am excruciatingly poor run over Christmas and new year. I do hope not! So come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, come ye oh come ye to Ewood Park. Dembele, whilst he was clearly a stand out in the poor ranks of the Posh team on Weds, didn't look any better than any of our player. Neither did he hurt us during the game, and we have a certain player coming back soon.. pass for me.

TM doesn't do statements, other than baffling ones about weak opposition. Sadly I think he will revert to type (or possibly tripe) at Stoke and we will be left wondering what might have been, instead of basking in reflected glory. The opportunity is there - a weakened Stoke team, a consistent line up for Rovers playing with some signs of confidence and consistency, a mini-run of form and the chance to consolidate whilst others aren't playing. Shouts "a kick in the balls" doesn't it??!! Heart says Rovers to nick something 0-1 Head says don't be a bloody fool. 2-0 the Potters. COYB!

Defenders have to be coming. If we have a settled and solid defence, I think we have a side capable of challenging in this division. If we don't then we are just another of the also-rans.

What I was going to say, before Mr Lenihan got in my way, was that this Peterborough side seem to want to play football, and are the antithesis of that bunch of moronic and cynical thugs that masquerade as Brizzle City, who just wanted to kick us off the park. More of the same, please, Rovers for the second half.
