I reckon around Wednesday next week they’ll be an article about messing up Eustace’s contract. Appeal will be lodged and rejected, which will leave us with Lowe & Benson for the rest of the season.

I have a feeling that Eustace won’t be in the dugout tomorrow. It will be Lowe & Johnson. Waggott will want him sat next to him in the JW upper to deflect any abuse for at least one more game.

JDT’s reign had a few sliding door moments… 1) Starting at least one Wharton in the game at Turf Moor 2) Hedges shot hitting the post, crawling across the line and out at 2-1 in the FA Cup quarter final. 3) Hedges chip attempt at Deepdale 4) Szmodics half volley bouncing off the crossbar and down onto the line at home to Luton. Edit: Maybe Hedges should be better at finishing 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rovers moving swiftly to appoint Eustace. JDT not hanging around either it seems.

JDT held the club to account and for that I respect him. He has very high standards, our club at this moment in time does not. I’m sure he’ll go on to be a success in other jobs and we’ll see this as an opportunity missed. If he wishes to be an elite manager, he will need to be more flexible with his tactics, or he’ll be found out.

Simon Grayson has a decent reputation in the Indian league at the moment. He left Bengaluru on 9 December 2023. I’m sure Venkys will consider him as JDT’s replacement.

Benson and Lowe have lifetime contracts, so they’ll be staying.

Here’s hoping he does well. Just looking at Birmingham’s matches that he managed this season. At the start of the season they went four league games unbeaten (W - 3/D - 1). Then they went 5 games without a win (L - 3/D - 2), With his last two games being wins, putting them into the play offs. I remember at the time it was reported he was going to be sacked during the bad run and then they won those last two games. Sacked him anyway on the back of two wins and he left pretty much a hero.

I reckon they’ll appoint someone with links to the club and try to get the fans on side. Someone like David Dunn or Callum Davidson.

We won’t be changing our style of play anytime soon. The YouTube channel that toured the academy confirmed that. We now have an ‘identity’ that goes through all the age groups to help play out from the back in a specific formation.

We spend most of our days slagging Waggott off on this forum. If he’s personally invited you to slag him off, why would you turn it down? You can’t win with some people 🤷🏻‍♂️
