I'm not sure Rev, this would be open to manipulation and I feel it may go to a tribunal to ascertain the value of the player....otherwise you could swap for 3 players at 5m value each and not pay Newcastle anything....

If he was in the middle of a 5 year deal I think you might be right with us having a disenchanted player....however he only needs to wait 6 months, plays every game for us, bags a load of goals and on his merry way...

It would need to be to a higher level too...like THB who might see champions league or Europe league football this season. Maybe a good German club might loan him.

I don't agree with this point. He's young...making the wrong move now for the sake of it is just as bad a career move.. Nobody seems to really want him or they'd have sorted it by now. He will be considering staying to run his deal down

I get your point but you can't run your career on that basis. I don't think he's crap, just not as good as he's made out to be. I'm sure he's going but I wouldn't be upset if he stayed...

We need a quality player to come in and replace him as part of the deal or lined up. Otherwise keep him.
