Bosh done. If you take it out of the refs hands it cleans a lot of the indecision out. But absolutely key is the VAR room can only invoke it for something clearly incorrect.

Bosh, and now Fifa basically control each game.  We are on the road to ruining the game by Fifa and UEFA wanting control over everything.  That guy wasn't giving the penalty tonight, then 4 people in a room who are probably his bosses whisper into his ear that he better look at something.  I'm telling you mate, most will take the advice and not go against 4 of his bosses and just go with the majority.  You could see tonight when he went over to the screen looking at the Cedric incident, there was somebody basically slowing the replay down for him so he could see the handlball clearly....they were trying to convince him by editing the video.  Road to ruin.

Don't get me wrong Williams is ok, although I would hope he is not a first team regular next season, but surely there are more pressing contracts to sort out than his?

It must be me then because I don't see a player at all in Williams.  Technically awful and his passing is poor. The championship will find him out straight away.  Can't play him in a three, he doesn't have the pace or technique on the ball.

We paid an undisclosed fee for Downing in January, but given his contract MK Dons was coming to an end this summer, I imagine it won't have been a huge amount. Maybe around £100K-£200K.

Downing was very good during his loan spell, but he definitely took a dip in form around Christmas time - nothing compared to the awful Ward, though! Since then Downing has been steady enough. He got us through our tough defensive struggle when few thought he would, and I'm happy with him as backup.

Nah he's not championship level. One injury and Charlie and Darragh do get injured. I'd like to see better quality than Tony's mate's lad.

Ethan Ampadu on loan as back up

    Which players are these then?

Kane, one of the best striker in the world. Plus Vardy up front with him aswell. 50 PL goals strike force there.

Walker and Sterling outstanding seasons for their club.

A manager picking players on form and leaving players out who are injury prone

    Are you 10?

"Congratulations. You've won the speedboat! Shame you live in Birmingham.!" :)

Actually Birmingham is one of the few inland places you could use one....Venice of the north?

You play the formation that suits the strengths of your players. If we still had Andre Oojer,Kevin Moran, Stephane Hechoz as centre backs and Kevin Hird and John Bailey as wing backs we could play that way, but we haven't.

Them 3 wouldn't work in a 3. No pace. You need pace with 3 at back, plus they need to be ball playing and at least 2 were iffy on the ball
