Fantastic watching man utd lose. Especially to two soft soft penalties and especially deep into injury time.
96mins Man utd 3 Chelsea 2. Its almost arousing.
The only downside is palmer getting a hattrick has buggered my fantasy league a little.

If that outcome, after relegation and administration, were assured, I'd wish it.
Agree but it's a low bar. I'd currently be over the moon if the Venkys sold us to a steaming pile of dog poo.

If we're in league 1 and go into administration I imagine he knows enough money to buy us.

Well that's a £150 fine so that's blown our summer transfer budget.

A much needed result. Hopefully Bristol City will be in mid table mode and we get a result there then we'll be home and dry.

6-5 anyone?

Doesn't that prove the shit ref theory.
Agree. The ref was shit but if he wasn't we'd have been chasing 2 goals

Should be sending pears up at the end. Better yet send him up and tell him to try and save it

We've been poor but they've been absolutely shockingly poor and I think we deserve atleast a point, possibly a win on the basis of being the least worst.

To quote Steve Coogan ‘this is liquid football’.
But it actually isn’t, is it?Depends what the liquid is, it looks remarkably similar to the food poisoning I had a few months ago...

We put a ball in first time rather than dicking about playing short and we got a shot at goal. A poor one but a shot on goal none the less
-
Was anyone else nervous when Ipswich passed it back to pears after we put the ball out?

I get why its offside but rules at the moment seen to be designed to take goals out of football as much as possible.

My wife keeps saying "no no , I'll do it you sit down and watch your football" I dont think she realises that thats not a very nice gesture

"once in a generation talent pool" is something we've been hearing for decades, usually with the same outcome, failure!
Exactly. How many of the current pool would get in a combined 11 with either the Euro 2004 or Euro 96 squad? And that's just in my life time.
None of the GK or defence now is better than Euro 2004 - there's maybe an argument for Walker.
Midfield - Rice maybe but, is he any better than the likes of Carrick, Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard?
Attack - Bellingham absolutely, Foden probably. Kane is obviously absolutely fantastic but England have always had great strikers to choose from - linekar, shearer, Owen, Rooney etc
Compared to the 2014 squad then we are unrecognisably better and we have some really exciting talent but is it really the best crop players we've ever had to choose from?

Shouldn't even be in charge of tying his own shoe laces let alone a football club. Needs to fuck off.
Hope he gets an egg to the face. A boiled one.

Whether people rated him or not, is irrelevant really now. We have lost a manager who was so honest and decent and prepared to let the fans know about some of the crazy things going on at the club
It's a sad state to be in but I would prefer a manager who loses games but is shouting at the top of his voice about how shit the club is rather than a manager who gets wins and but blows peas up waggots arse.

On a seperate note - why does sterling insist on volunteering for set pieces. He's such a technically limited player why embarrass yourself by pulling rank and taking a penalty when there's a good chance you'll miss. As for the free kick that was laughable.

BBC showing a replay whilst Leicester get a goal back. How much of live football is actually just watching a replay?
Missed a goal cos of a replay then we were watching a replay of that as Chelsea went up the other end and had a chance.

I've only seen in passing on Facebook and haven't read in detail as I'm out and about but nixon has done a story saying venkys have been approached buy potential buyers but won't sell unless we get to the PL. As frustrating as that is as we'll never get promotion under the venkys, it might at least shut up the crowd who always spout "who is going to buy us"

That's before then there is after i.e the Indian govt will want proof the money was used for what it was allocated for and nothing else.
That's the centre of this whole issue.
Then surely once that is confirmed as legit and signed off then the 11 million equivalent should be released back to Vs or obviously held if the same amount is allowed to be sent again. It can't be as if they have to keep giving the govt equal amounts as security and they just keep hold of it as has been mentioned.
Admittedly I hadn't given it much thought but I'd thought it was that they put the money in a bond and then it would be released after the investigation had ended but what you said makes me sense.

We deserved something out of Ipswich, bossed Sunderland and got a great draw against Southampton. Why don't you think we'd get atleast one win out of Bristol City, Sheffield or Coventry?
I think we'd have to exceed all expectations of shitness to not hit 50 points.
