Bell will in 5 years time still be a player that people think there is more to come from him that will never materialise. He is no better than Douglas and theres no way that either should be here next season.

He isnt clinical and that may very well prevent him from succeeding at the top level. But there seems an unhealthy obsession to dismiss his achievements, his goal record is phenomenal yet even today, he scored another hat trick and there is criticism about one or two shots thay he didnt take.

Scoring so many goals isnt lucky, its a fantastic personal achievement that deserves praise and should have left him picking up the player of the season award.

Every striker needs some luck but i just think AA has had more than plenty this season. Not knocking the lad ..hes there to score goals and he has. Is he a consistent  25 plus a season at Championship level season after season ..thats definitely debatable ...and as for PL i certainly have my doubts.

Blinkered by goals is possibly correct because he has scored an obscene amount and it is the most important part of being a striker. To say that he cant finish, he cant take penalties and he ruins 5 or 6 chances a game to set up a goal for our other prolific attackers, hes not done too bad.

I am not backing Mowbray, ive wanted him out and your comment there makes no sense but I think that the second top scorer in the league is a strength strangely rather than a weakness.

Yep no denying the amount of goals AA has scored this season its there in the record books . Thank the Lord.

The one thing that the record books dont show is that AA isnt a "clinical" finisher.

Again today the two he scored in open play the keeper should have saved ..yes .. i know if you dont shoot you dont score ..both me and my lad both said the same today ..he does get a bit of luck at times. Very rare he s sticking it in the "postage stamp" or in the bottom corners and his one on ones are a little bit hit n miss .

The  number of off target shots and even the number of shots on target at times ( nine shots on goal in one game ? ) shows hes not the clinical striker that his goals this season on paper kind of points to.

So i can see where @Bbrovers2288 is going with AA.

    Clinical is the word.

  3. This sudden 'moral' stance of abstaining from buying anything to do with club being banged on about by people when every Saturday this season the same people have been more than happy to pay into the coffers for ifollow (unless you ve been watching on illegal streams you naughty boys ) suddenly seems a little hypocritical..

The problem with the Venkys /Mowbray and team hasnt just happened this week yet still people still buying iFollow yet telling others not to buy anything to do with the club.

Seems a little selective to me ..

as much as i don`t like his tactics i think it`a case of him running out of ideas more than not having a clue,he`s now just hanging on for a severance cheque in the hope he gets sacked, thats the main reason iv`e taken to disliking him,it`s not very honourable is it??and tony said he was an honourable man

Even a broken clock gets it right at some point ..

Forget a bloody boycott (with respect): Nobody has been near Ewood for 12 months or more.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the start of next season, when in all probability we'll be able to attend as normal, is an absolutely massive chance to re-invigorate this club that we all love.

Why not show the Rao's what we are all really about...We've hated having the piss taken out of us by wankers such as Anderson, Shaw, Singh, Agnew, Coyle, Mowbray, Waggott and Venus and sorry from whoever threw the bloody snowball.

FFS, WE ARE BLACKBURN ROVERS FC: let's collectively aim to show everyone in 2021/22, what being A ROVER is all about!

    Ermmm ..how ?

  6. The idea of involving fans in kit design seems like a logical idea but when your design of kit is not chosen human nature kicks in and some fans will simply not buy on principal. Fans will have too many ideas that you wont please everyone but will alienate others. Again ..human nature.

Let the club/supplier design them for me..'thats the shirt lads ..like it or lump it' !.. most fans end up with their  blue n white spex on and slowly fall in love with most shirt designs when they see it in the flesh ..on the players ..on tv ..down the pub etc ..
