How does the parachute payments work? Dingles on twitter have been quick to point out that they won't get any because they have gone straight back up again.

Assume they just got one last payment from the PL and the parachute payments would have kicked in at the end of this season, if they failed to go up?

you get 3 years of parachute payments they will have received around £ 40m this year they would have been due £35m next season and £15m the year after had they not been promoted this year.

  2. The thing that really winds me up is the fact that sheffield united with the advantages of parachute payments have been being funded by payments from a potential owner who cannot get ratified by the football league thus far. added to the fact the signed there best defender from under us and failed to pay for him as well as others yer nothing has been done about them.

Christ, don't leave me here on my own, Longers !!

My view is that we get a very fair hearing, but treading the line between analysis, fair comment and banter is a tricky one on a rival's board .... you will occasionally get it wrong, or invoke the wrath of a rival supporter who's got out of bed the wrong side, or had a sense of humour failure !

The way I see it is its an Internet message board it's here for discussion rival views are always welcome from me I might disagree even go to far myself but open for everyone to have their say.
