On the other hand, a pretty strong bench but Adam Wharton should have been on it if he wasn't starting.

I might be wrong but I don't see it as a tombola spin I see it as rewarding players who played well in mid week if you perform you keep the shirt good management ( in theory please god in practice too)

Mildly amusing the first time with Chris Brown not helpful at all tho. And that was a player coming to the end of his career who has seen it all and he kinda sees the funny side according to the way he told the story on his podcast. He's going to go on to control games knows when to keep it simple and when to push on.

I'd prefer to play dack in where SS plays but in away games like this I'd play morton alongside the other two in cm and try and control the middle
