two draws in very difficult away games followed by three wins on the bounce great stuff.
JRC and Carter proving they are more than capable at this level. Good performance in the middle from bucko today great stuff.

Hayden Carter has proved in the last few games that we were right to keep him and is easily going to be a good cb at this level

I don't understand why with time running out the never got a deal sheet in to cover any bases giving them extra time after11 to complete the deal

If we have failed to get even one signing over the line today I'm done truly done
-
Perhaps tho office manager was waiting to file it all in a oner to prove his efficiency and has failed to get anything over the line.

Not being funny I know the announcement videos are all the rage and get clicks but would it not be more respectful to fans to announce signings on deadline day so we can get on with ya know sleeping

It's starting to look like they got nothing through on time

Will my battery hold up is biggest question. If no striker comes in can we not play Diaz down the middle and sorba where he plays with O'brien in the middle and we are stronger?

Hopefully markandy leaving means we have a forward lined up hopefully a striker

So let me get this right to ward off going in to a possible embargo and only being able to sign players for 10k a week we are limiting our wage this window to 10k a week struggling to see what difference an embargo would make tbh.

How was Markanday today? Who got person of the match?
Was busy looked decent. I'd be shocked if it was not Hyam

They’ve both been here a while and are two very valued users. Exactly what this site should be, to be honest. I’d rather they hadn’t, but I hope they’re having a good day. Would love to buy them a drink one day.
Yeah fair play they are good contributers to the board and good luck to them kind of hope they have a good night with many flat pints and terrible service

Afternoon all. My customary quick visit post match. Hard to argue best team won on the day, you don’t win games with one shot in 90 minutes.
Quick word for both sets of fans who observed the silence absolutely.
Enjoy your afternoon, I’m out for a few drinks, will read through the thread later but will avoid comment more for now.
Well it hurts that's fir sure but the best team won absolutely no doubt about that I do however hope every pint you get today is flat.

Blimey, throwing in Mola in his first league start and Garrett ahead of Adam Wharton. No Scott Wharton in defence.
A big tombola spin this one!
On the other hand, a pretty strong bench but Adam Wharton should have been on it if he wasn't starting.I might be wrong but I don't see it as a tombola spin I see it as rewarding players who played well in mid week if you perform you keep the shirt good management ( in theory please god in practice too)

Mental, doesn’t this game go into extra time if still a draw??? Awful decision to bring Diaz on!
No extra time

Not sure how this type of thing is remotely helpful TBH
Mildly amusing the first time with Chris Brown not helpful at all tho. And that was a player coming to the end of his career who has seen it all and he kinda sees the funny side according to the way he told the story on his podcast. But for a young player trying to establish himself stuff like this is not in the slightest bit helpful or even funny.

Not even sure it was a free kick let alone a red

What I like about Wharton. Its not just his ability but he plays like someone way above his years. He makes everything look so easy
He's going to go on to control games knows when to keep it simple and when to push on.

I'd prefer to play dack in where SS plays but in away games like this I'd play morton alongside the other two in cm and try and control the middle

Can't believe the ref blew up for the pen as the ball was cut back even a further second and its a goal

Incredibly fortunate. Millwall weren’t robbed but we’d be livid about the ref, he was soft on us.
Just have to hope lessons are learned for Tuesday.
Not sure where he was soft

With a few new contracts signed since the close of the window I'd argue he's moved on to this side of things since then.

Why are we even talking about him being a striker it's a bizarre idea coming from nowhere

Bit underwhelmed by the 3 years. Not exactly gagging at the bit to be part of the long term setup is he. 5 years would have been more like it for a 17 year old. Smacks of reluctantly doing us a favour.
Only allowed to sign for 3 years as a 17 year old.

I thought it was more of a case of trav slowing Mortons walk off to waste a few seconds.
