I never said he would be good for Rovers did I? I personally wouldn’t sign him at 32 either, just saying he did quite well last season. Calm down!

Scored 13 league goals in the Championship last season. Not saying that’s amazing but still not bad.

Not really when I’d have him ahead of Downing. We’ve got to start putting more faith into our talented youth. What would be more annoying is if we sign a centre back now.

Maybe so, but he never had a full run in the team. But yes I don’t think he’s all that. There must be others other than Travis surely? Rankin Costello is 19 this week, he should be breaking through at that age.

Spot on. We won the U23’s last season, must be a few that can step up. Obviously Travis and Tomlinson being two. Costello and Wharton next? We’ve got to give these guys a chance if the money isn’t there.

Exactly. Would be crazy just to look in the English market. So many gems overseas for lower prices.

Think we’d create more than that Shrewsbury team but yes it all depends on the ‘budget’.

Yes I saw him play a few times. He didn’t always score but his all round game was good.

Obviously Armstrong and Maddison would be ideal. I’d feel a bit better if we signed those two this week.

Exactly. Can’t see Morris getting in the Norwich team, I think their German man has other plans. He did well at Shrewsbury.
