Eustace will always have a problem winning over a section of the fan base due to who is perceived to have appointed him. Comparison has been made to Jim iley however the players didn't want to play for him so not a true comparison . He is more John Pickering to me.

of course it can be and I will give you a working scenario
We brought in money from Wharton sale and Raya sell on clause so lets say it is £25m for this scenario.
You can spend £7m for the summer transfer budget, add £2m to the wage budget for next season and the season after. So that's £11m then spend 3m on improve the club academy facilities and first team facilities. then save £3m for next January window. So that's, £17m spent whilst reducing the season debt by £8m
However by the summer there will be nothing like £25 million left in the pot. We are already living off the Wharton money now.

Celtic only paid £10 million plus twice in their history.

Gilsenan is not a wide player. He might get a chance if Szmodic gets injured.
He did play as a wide player in the league cup games and looked decent there.

With Waggott and Suhail following their own agenda a director of football is surplus to requirements. They will make his life as difficult as possible until he packs his bags and leaves. There is no way however they will pay him off. How long GB is prepared to put up with it is anybody's guess. I assume he got a 3 year contract when he signed so he is just over half way through that.

So deliberately trying to weaken the squad on the last day of the window when in a relegation battle. 🤔

Read an article during the week think it was football league world which suggests Fleck is on £20K per week!!!!

Dingles must be heading for points deduction with a £120 million spend

Think this confirms who stopped the incomings.

What I conclude from that statement is there is no application for transfer of funds proposed for the August hearing.

I'm not sure if these hearings include the investigation, I would expect that to be a different case.
A second case reference appeared with the postponement notice until August. It relates to Fema investigation
-
Reflecting on this there is no reason why between now and August that should they so wish they can apply to the court to send funds to the club. The hearing in August is more about the Fema case

Didn't think about that. If we can't even offer Dolan the same terms we will lose him on a free rather than getting compensation.
Don't the accounts get signed off if they're accurate and not suspicious, rather than because the club is financially secure going forward?
Accountants need to be sure the business is a going concern when they sign it off don't see how they can be until the final hearing in August.
-
The CM APPL 30646/2023 that has appeared on the latest judgement delaying to August is a criminal appeal against FEMA.
It suggests to me the Directorate of Enforcement have now got all their ducks in a row and are ready to pursue Venkateshwara Hatcheries hence the statement of a final hearing.
-
Don't see how the accountants can sign off the accounts at the end of this month.
Those players where rovers have an option to extend their contract for another twelve months this summer can take it that won't be happening.
-
Each time they want to send money over they have to go to court to get the judges permission. The directorate has regularly objected to the sending of money. The judge ruled it was allowable to pay HMRC and then again to run the club for the next three months with the £11 million last November.

Is that CM. APP /30646/2023 A new number don't recall seeing that reference previously.?
-
Last August the directorate were looking at taking another 15 days to conclude the investigation suggests they found other stuff.
No more hearings before August means no more money transfers.
-
Two things here we haven't heard before.
The final hearing
The matter is likely to take some time.
Suggests it's not just about releasing the next tranche of funds.

Clearly some decision was made yesterday as there is now a date in August for the next hearing so venkateshwara Hatcheries must know what that is whether they have communicated that to Waggott is another matter.

Article also mentions 15m link to Brentford. Surprising amount of true.
Don't care how much he goes for we won't see any of it. Hope he stays another year or two and runs his contract down and then leaves for free.
There was mention of Brentford and Luton yesterday. Think Brentford expect Toney to go in the summer so should have a sizeable wedge from that sale.

So it looks like its been put back again ?
Well i never, why rush i mean we must have at least two grand of the first Wharton instalment left !
Don't think we can reach that conclusion just yet.

Being able to play virtually the first choice eleven with a stronger bench to support makes a lot of difference.
