There was a Venkys Out chant in Jack Walker Centre around 80 minutes. Was a few minutes after the one from NO1.

Does he actually have any bloody say in transfer policy?
Sounds to me like JDT didn't agree.

I think there is an inevitable outcome that eventually the Directorate of Enforcement will eventually get round to examining Rovers. My reading of the situation is that once that happens no funds at all will be able to be sent overseas to keep us going.

Maybe it is time to cash in on Wharton, £10/12 m would be useful right now.
Not the time just takes a judge to be aware of the transfer and say you don't need any money sending over now you have these funds

Moving forward if we are just signing kids on loan and free transfers do we actually need a director of football or can we save a wage here.

The policy of Broughton and the owners is biting them on the backside.
Broughton to me showed ambition in the O'Brien deal only to be torpedoed. I think now he has had the ambition sucked out of him just like JDT. If funds allowed I believe he would show more ambition in the signings. Knowing what he knows now would he have taken the job initially?

This fixture last season Huddersfield would have won if they had taken their chances. This season we are weaker. Important not to lose. Any point is valuable in the present circumstances.

They've now made Wrexham do digital only tickets for their fans 😂
I did read on the Wrexham forum that they had been told the upper tier would not be available due to cost of opening. Digital only a way of reducing demand.

Perhaps we had better keep him as we are likely to meet his level in the next eighteen months.

Mourinho just been fired again, he is welcome to come park his bus on Ewood Park anytime he likes
There was a time when we would have been talked about as being in the frame for the likes of Mourinho.

I'm even more suspicious now that the O'brien deal was pulled on purpose at the 12th hour, suddenly realised they didn't have the clearance from Pune so someone didn't correct the paperwork they'd surely already read over.
Probably just hoping to buy a bit of time but Pune went silent.
Paying 30k a week for O'Brien is completely at odds with everything else that has gone on was never happening a rude awakening for GB

They may bitch and moan to each other, but when they go out on to the pitch they don't go out to lose. It doesn't happen

Travis no matter what your opinion has been here years and hes lived and breathed Rovers and is very much the kind of character needed when it's backs to the wall.
Certainly of far more use than a kid on loan.

Do we know if this is the only threat from HMRC. of issuing a winding up petition? This dates from last April. The funding issues have worsened. You would have to think we are struggling to pay HMRC presently

Wahlsted can go off on loan to a lower league side. He's not good enough. To compare him to Raya is perhaps unfair, but at his age Raya was earning rave reviews winning games on loan for Southport. Wahlsted is nowhere near that level. I'd go as far to say he doesn't exhibit any outstanding attritbutes. In such a key position, perhaps harsh, but I'd be looking to sell him on.
Raya was around 18 when he played for Southport. Wahlsted is 24!

Putting goalkeeping issues to one side last season we had BBD and Gallagher tracking back to help the full backs. This season it's Moran and Siggardson (sp) who provide very little protection for the full backs. Both luxury players in my opinion and part of the reason why the defence is so porous.

Next two home league games crucial to the season now Huddersfield and QPR. Vital not to lose either.

Back in November there was no mention of JDT for the Swedish job. Potter was the main name. If he is approached he will be off.

Venky’s, HMRC…The Plot Thickens ?

One thing these Indian court cases do is shine a light on our outgoings. Page 38 this thread shows the submission that was approved by the judge.
Payroll liabilities salary and wages Oct to Dec 2023 £3834192
Payroll liabilities tax payable on salaries and wages Oct to Dec £3085000
Total for 3 months £6919192
That's projected to £27.67 million per annum.
Those figures are at odds with the figure for wages and accounts in the June 22 accounts which show wages and salaries at 24 million.
No sign of a significant drop in salaries despite all the outgoings and cut backs!
