I don't see the connection between Dembele and Germain, surely different kinds of player . I would have thought it was more a question of Germain and Stansfield? And if it's a case of Germain on a permanent for little money or Stansfield on loan (which is what Nixon is now suggesting), I'd go for Germain all day long. J League top scorer this season

I get the Pears bashing at times but really don't think he was at fault for either goal, the responsibility was elsewhere. Also didn't realize how good a save that was from the near post corner that nearly crept in. We do need a No 1 though.

Lots of positives, all three debutants excellent. Subs obviously made a difference after being under the cosh a bit in the 2nd half. Sammies goal looked simple, just watch his movement before Brittains cross. Absolute class
