Have to agree. Disappointing perhaps, but not a disaster imo. Centre backs are probably the easiest position to pick up bargains, and if we do sign the French lad then I'm sure we can pick up a cheap alternative somewhere. Weimann would be a bench warmer, so again I'm prepared to see what the recruitment team comes up with in that position. We all know Eustaces preference for older players , but somewhere down the line that policy will come back to haunt you.
