Well done Rovers for hanging on. A lot more confident of holding onto a lead under JDT than I was when Mowbray was here. Tronstad is a superb player at this level. Definitely Leo's best game for us so far.
And Ipswich won again.
I really thought Ipswich would start to fade but it looks like they can go all the way

Yet another game that should have been comfortable and ended up anything but.
Lots of positives I thought. Back 4 (and Leo) excellent, good to see Scott Wharton back to his best. Hope his sub was precautionary and he's ok.
Tronstad is an immense player for us and quickly becoming a favourite. Siggy also excellent tonight and back to something like.
Ennis considering it was his first start was ok for me, again hope that substitution was pre planned.
Only disappointment really was Moran who was quite frankly awful

Been studying Ennis's ass and it looks fine to me 😳😳

If Markanday had pace I might agree but I saw Spence stood next to him near the end of the game and it looked like an U15 match where one lad has grown up quicker than the other. Or like boxers in different weight divisions in the same ring.
Just goes to show how people see things differently. I thought yesterday was one of the few days where they didn't look physically bigger or stronger. In fact their front 4/5 were small in comparison. The difference was they all had frightening pace and technique.

Tomasson looks a beaten man to me. He’s realised he’s taken this club and team as far as it can go
He looked like that from the stands did he Jim?

That doesn't stop you being a knob.
Still, at least it's better banter than we get from John Claret

Feel full backs will be a defining position this weekend with Leeds having James on one side and Summerville on the other with Gnoto also in the mix.
Our wide players will have to get through a lot of work helping out defensively.
I'd go Hill and Pickering with Brittain and Moran wide

Looks like the sacking season has started in the Championship. Sunderland have sacked Mogga and Swansea ditched Duff last night

I dont think we will get a fee. But with all the budget cuts and him being almost certainly the highest earner, he will be off and replaced internally.
Can't see Rovers letting him go for free even if it is to get him off the wage bill. Should be fit just in time for the January window and could be worth a gamble for someone.
Anyone watched the Wimbledon cup match tonight? Notice Al Hamidi scored a couple

Considering the fact that Gregg Broughton has been very active since his arrival in tying important players down to longer contracts, does anyone else find it revealing that Sam Gallaghers contract is up in the Summer (albeit with a 12 month club option), and that nothing has been heard about talks being ongoing ?
Think it only spells one thing tbh, Rovers will be looking to move him on whilst they can get a reasonable fee for him,and considering the season he's having at the moment it's hard to blame them

What's the Nicko article today?
Usual Nicko non story. Claiming Palace would like to sign Wharton but can't afford him so they are looking elsewhere at loans
And that's it

One of those games where we could play all day and not score.
Too slow to react. Not with it today. Hoping for a moment of magic to inspire the team. That aged well

Just turned on the PNE game, I'll never call the Ewood pitch again !
Looks like somebody's driven a quad bike over it

I know SW said at the fans forum that targets are being looked at for January. Playing devil's advocate though, India may look at recent results and say " what do we need a striker for, we're scoring plenty of goals at the moment"
