A good point and we have moved up the table. Yet strangely I am less optimistic about survival than I was this time last week.

I think one more win should do it. I can't see two of Plymouth, Wednesday and Huddersfield getting to 48 points. And with the later two's goal differences they would probably need 49 points to overtake us

Edwards and Millwall and now Foster at Plymouth. Coaching kids is no preparation for managing in the Championship.

Having watched Southampton last night one thing we need to do is shoot. Their keeper moves like he has cement in his boots, he should have saved all 3 Ipswich goals.

The McFadzean red card was probably the best thing that happened to him. It meant abandoning the 5 at the back which going all the way back to when Mowbray tried it just does not suit us .

First and foremost,Eustace had to stop the goals against and make Rovers harder to beat.
3 defeats in 11 since Tomasson left suggests it's working, those 3 defeats by a single goal. It's easy to forget that we were getting spanked for weeks on end, teams are now having to actually work to beat us.
It's not working we are closer to relegation now than when he came in.

His 'rise to fame' is on the back of making Kidderminster 'the Barcelona of non league' and a moderately successful short spell at Brum where I think the owners quickly realised they had a manager with limitations who wasn't going to deliver their aspirations and ambitions.
He's made us look more like the Kidderminster of the Championship

He's another Appleton. An inexperienced manager who is manging the biggest club that he will manage in his career and is miles out of his depth in the situation that he finds himself in.
At least when Appleton was here the owners retained a modicum of interest and got rid before it was too late, I think we are going to be stuck with Eustace come what may.

8 losses, a win and 2 draws (against Rotherham and Hudderfield at home) in JDTs last 11 matches.
We were in freefall.
And we have continued falling under Eustace. We are closer to relegation now than when he took over.

Stabilised us? The bloke has had 10 games and not mustered a single victory. We are now closer in terms of points and position to the relegation zone than we were when he took over. That's not what I call stabilising.

What is the longest a Rovers manager has gone before recording his first win?

And when the ref chalks 3 goals off.
All correctly disallowed. And the first 2 were chakled of by the linesman not the ref.

Some of you really baffle me.
He's constantly our out ball. I'd love a left footed Brittain to play LB.
And his product when he gets the ball is absolute shit.

In terms of attitude and ability I would place Callum Brittain on the same level as Bradley Orr.

I'd like him to call fouls the same if that's ok? Morsey dived at the end there - Chaplin went through the back of Chrisene to get the ball earlier and he waved play on.
We were very Lucky he didn't call a foul by Brittain.

I’d rather players, managers and anyone interviewed showed more honesty rather than talking in platitudes so for that I say fair play to him
I'd rather he looked himself in the mirror instead of blaming someone else for his own failures. Wharton's attitude is typical of the modern footballer.

If that is Wharton's attitude then perhaps he should look at himself, rather than blaming someone who achieved far more in his career than Wharton would if he played for 50 years. Let's not forget last season that manager took us to our highest league position since 2012. Also Wharton hardly banged the door down to get a start last season he was more a hindrance than a help whenever he did play.
It's clear that JDT was a shock to the players this wasn't a bloke who spent most of his career in the 2nd division with Middlesbrough. This is a man who has played at the highest level of international and club football, who played for one of the greatest managers of all time at one of the world's biggest clubs. He had very high standards and it seems like that was too much for a number of our feeble minded squad.
Also it's all very well blaming the manager for the squad's short comings but they still haven't won a match under the new manager. Some them would be better of looking in the mirror if they want someone to blame. I've seen some poor teams during my time following Rovers but this is one of the softest, most entitled and most unlikeable that I have seen.

Cant believe with all the shit the scumbag raos, waggot and sunhail do to this club people still blame and pick on easy targets like of eustace, jdt and Broughton! Professionals that are just doing the best they can under the shit show circus where the clubs plans change with the wind
If you think I don't criticise The owners or CEO then you are very much mistaken. None of those are signing the players though, we are in a relegation fight and had a paltry budget in January I just think that if Broughton was going to spend money on a player it would have been useful to spend it on someone who can play a big part in that fight against relegation.
Broughton is a symptom of the owners and like many of those employed before him (and the current CEO) is a chancer who is massively out of his depth.

Another damning indictment of Broughton. We are in a relegation battle and our only cash buy in January needs protecting.

No he isn't but he took a team that was lacking confidence he has stopped the losses, We have come from behind twice at home which we never did under JDT in the league. Also he has had very limited amount time on the training field to get his ideas over the players. The next 3 weeks we have one game game against Boro before Good Friday home game to Ipsiwch. I would expect lot of work on the training field to be done this week and during the international break
All this bollocks about time on the training field as though he has some wonderful style of football that is difficult for players to adapt to. The football is about as basic as you can get, as I said the other day Eustace is a pound shop Tony Pulis.

When comparing to Kean, I hope that’s only to performances on the pitch, I really do.
Eustace does appear to use White Hart Lane in 2012 as a blueprint to set his team up. 29% possession at home to Plymouth is utterly embarrassing.

He strikes me as another Appleton. He has come into a struggling team and is totally out of his depth as to how to turn it around. I was sceptical about the appointment when it was made and I have seen nothing to win me over yet, everything about him seems uninspiring.
