However the three strikers were all brought in for nothing. He wanted better strikers then Enny and Telly in the Summer but wasn't given the money.
But that is his job to work within that budget and find players up to standard. Sadly the players haven't been up to standard and nor has Broughton.

Bar a ten minute spell in the first half that was a walk in the park. As I said before the game these lower league sides can't handle our attacking intensity.

No way is Garrett a Championship level footballer. A lower league clogger at the very best

Why, have you ?
Yes I have. My Son in Law is a Celtic season ticket holder and I went with him to watch them play St Mirren. Phillips started that game and was awful and his performances didn't improve after that either with an Own goal at Kilmarnock perhaps the lowest point. There is a reason that he is nearly 27 and played less than 80 senior games of football.

I think some people on here need a reality check when it comes to signings
Who or what were you expecting ffs ?
Considering our finances this would seem on paper as good a signing as we could make
Have you seen Phillips play this season? He's a complete donkey.

Brilliant from Maidstone. The English football pyramid is like no other and the FA Cup is the greatest cup competition in the world.

Pep and Klopp are a gulf in class ahead of the other managers in the league. Man City have dominated over the last few years but Klopp and Liverpool have pushed them, without them City would have had a much easier ride of it and the season would have been over by March every season.
Ideally pep won't be much further behind klopp and there becomes a touch more competition at the top of the table. Otherwise City will run away with it every year.
Something that I was surprised to read was that during Klopp's tenure they have only been runners up to City twice the same number funnily enough as Man Utd in the same time frame. I thought that Liverpool had been runners up to City more than that but it must just seem like more because they were both such tight title races.

Good riddance to Klopp going always moaning about something and talking down the English game.

They won't Klopp is a good manager but he is no Alex Ferguson.

The Wrexham director Shaun Harvey comes across as very dislikable. I bet him and Swaggott would get on well.
He was a piss poor EFL Chief Executive.

How many times have you watched us out of interest? Its nonsense like this which gets fans backs up. A basic brand of football - whatever that means - is currently allowing us to win far more games than we lose.
I didn't say there was anything wrong with basic football so I don't know why you have taken such offense to it. But your style is basic you are a direct team (like most of Parkinson's team) who like to play for set pieces be it throw ins, corners etc to launch into the box, there is not much free flowing football from you.
There is nothing wrong with playing to your strengths and it is working for you in your league although let's be honest you should be doing well in your league considering your budget. But you are playing a 2nd tier team on Monday and you will need to show something more, you were very lucky to get past Shrewsbury in the last round and this will be a significant step up from Shrewsbury for you.

God knows if we’ll get any of it to reinvest in proper signings. We’re in ‘managed decline’ mode as far as I can see.
You don't need to be God to know you just need to have been paying attention over the last 13 years.

This will be like a cup final for Wrexham visiting former Premier League Champions and with our run of form they will fancy their chances.
But whilst sides at our level may have worked us out the lower league sides we have played this season have not been able to handle our attacking intensity.
Wrexham despite what they have spent are very average and play a very basic brand of football. The media will want the Hollywood story of their plucky darlings beating the former Premier League Champions but I think it will be a routine Rovers win.

Travis wanted out in the summer and again this window. JDT explained the reasons why.
Buckley wanted first team football as GB said
Just because a player says they want to play you don't loan them out at the first opportunity. It's about getting them off the book so they don't have to pay them. Travis is club captain and undoubtedly made our squad stronger you don't just loan him out days into the window if he wants to move on and you are happy to let him go then you sell him when a appropriate offer is made.

Buckley wanted to leave for first team football..
Kaminski and Phillips money went towards the shortfall as GB said in his post Summer transfer interview
Buckley was moved on to get a wage of the books and as soon as he came back Travis was offloaded from the books.

Something has to happen we can't carry on operating like we are in perpetuity. I would take administration over a continuation of the last 13 years of torture. Of course there would be some real pain to start with but in the long term I believe the club would end up in a better place. I have absolutely no doubt that there would be party's out there wanting to buy Rovers just in recent years in the Championship and League 1 Birmingham, Huddersfield, Ipswich, Hull, Sunderland, Leeds, Coventry, Bolton, Wigan, Derby, Charlton & Blackpool have all been taken over.

Since Ryan Reynolds took over Wrexham, they’ve been getting loads of attention and it’s become a bit annoying.
Really hope we batter them tbf.
They are more a Hollywood production than a football club.
I watched their game yesterday on S4C and they were very fortunate Shrewsbury should have won comfortably but missed a lot of decent chances. One thing we certainly don't have any problems with the last couple of seasons is sticking goals past lower league teams in cups.

What has Brittain done to be regarded as decent?
Not judging Broughton on the money he has to work with is a ridiculous notion given it is literally his job to work with those funds.
