  1. I wonder about the state of mind of some of our members, will have to send you on an internal exile... Your misplaced childhoods obviously suits you, still we are clutching at straws waiting for seasons end now.
  2. What, the Blue Peter dog? You might be right but I remember him/her as having slightly longer hair. and if it is Nemo Slater_Scott, what on earth is he doing fronting Marillion? Doesn't he know his dad's out looking for him!? No, its the Jaws toothed Drum and Bass star. And No, the ever popular big scottish Dick isn't fronting Marillion anymore, thats why his dads looking for him.
  3. most certainly not ... messy things, parsnips Bloody hell, you just try and get a thread on track, and the usual suspects go and drive it off subject... Might just have to rename it to "Does Parsnip soup make you fart"
  4. No, it is NOT what this site needs.. What it needs is the official board opening up again. Expect some sort of a crackdown in the near future.. probably just after we start winning again.
  5. Jim Davidson would refuse to be the manager due to the Wheelchairs on the front row.
  6. Taylor played more games than Berg last season, and as many as Short.. and we kept a good few clean sheets. The problem has been never being able to pick a settled side from one game to another. Of course Souness will sound miserable - he'd just found out a player he'd been chasing for weeks had turned him down. Hence the "it feels like a kick in the @#/?" quote. What do you want him to do, go around smiling like Yorkie..
  7. Interesting.. Statistically almost identical to his record at Liverpool.
  8. Oh please! By all means, feel free to argue in favour of Souness - but this well-worn argument is totally stupid. Was Brian Kidd on the pitch when we were stinking up division one? Was Graham Taylor playing alongside Carlton Palmer for England when he was England boss? Were they still culpable for the bad results? Would having Todd and Short, available have made a difference to Souness' "performance" on Saturday? Or even Ferguson, Flitcroft, Amoruso, Thompson, Reid, Mahon, a fully fit Jansen Now financial restrictions mean we have a small squad, we cant afford to lose this many first team players. I'd expect many other managers would be struggling as well.
  9. That is exactly what I was trying to say. On another note, to anybody in the souness out camp, what would you propose we replace him with We are not going to be getting a manager currently employed as we wont be paying compensation. Which leaves us with a long list of already failed managers, and a few young wannabes. - Tony Parkes, Glenn Hoddle, Howard Wilkinson, Luca Vialli or any other recently retired international don't exactly inspire. I certainly dont think Souness is 100% perfect though, in my mind his biggest problem is his loyalty to his backroom staff who are definitely not up to the job.
  10. So you would rather replace Souness with the far more experienced and successful Paul Sturrock then
  11. I've also heard many other rumours about that day, including one where everything was almost signed, sealed and delivered until one of the parties got a @#/? up phone call saying "do you know how much you have cost me you c***" None of us will ever know the truth, but as Bryan said - if I was Shearer then I would have made the same decision. Move on, it was 7 and a half years ago and consigned to Rovers history. Who knows what will make a good manager - personally I think its 95% luck... Tony Adams is struggling, Chris Coleman is flying, people such as McMahon will have to wait forever to get even half a chance.
  12. Grrrrr.... So we should have paid him 5 years of wages before he bothered to put even a half season of reasonable football. INMO, Easily Rovers WORST ever signing, at least Grabbi put some effort in and had an excuse for being homesick. Davies had played 300 miles away without complaining until he moved an hours drive from Ewood.
  13. I can't help but get the image of it being like locking Andrew WK, Wyld Stallions, Bad News and Spinal Tap in a room and then giving this guy the songs they didnt want.
  14. That Gregan fellow reminds me of Ian Wright... both annoying little shysters who play for scummy teams.
  15. Seems our Kangaroo Jockey friends have been inadvertantly helping Jonny Wilkinson
  16. Nah, leagues crap. They just stay in lines, running forward, lookin like a herd of elephants or something. Union is miles better, its a proper game, not a formation As opposed to "RUN,KICK ,LIFT HIM UP TO CATCH IT,ALL PILE ON,WHISTLE FOR SOME OBSCURE PENALTY,KICK A PEN,KICK AGAIN ALL PILE ON PENALTY FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT ,OH ITS TO FAR WE WILL KICK IT OUT AGAIN?" Hope they win but union is defo egg chasing. oops i missed kick it out again, lift him up kick it out again missed stuck up buggers too ie.harry and his free hospitalty packages....bet he didnt queue up early to get his ticket for the final How can YOU criticise any form of rugby when you follow the Homosexual American version. Stop, start, watch it on video, get the coach to look in a play book, spend 14 hours putting on all the soft padding, make the game last 4 hours with no action.
  17. Which is why at school the ball players played football and the fat oafs played rugby. I thought the only sport when you were at school was Archery
  18. I was told by Bellamy11 and T4E that they said beacuse they write their own songs, they are a rock band. What a load of crap, they're pop #### and the sooner they disappear the better. If they are a rock band then let them play the Leeds festival or next years Download festival, if they are really serious then let them appear at the Bulldog Bash. It will be worth going just to chuck bottles of p1ss at them.
  19. Being drunk and falling asleep at a radiohead concert is probably a blessing in disguise. In other music news, Busted have complained that being labelled a boy band is offensive. Much like their music.
  20. We would need 25 people to write a letter demanding a poll first, and then a vote of confidence in the leader could be made. I'm sure I read that somewhere...
  21. Souness has admitted on Skysports that this is the worst times he has had at Blackburn and the players have to improve otherwise face a relegation struggle.
  22. do you enjoy the attention of being controversial or do you really believe the garbage you come out with? Thats the most clear cut case of the pot calling the kettle sooty arse I've seen in a while. Please have a point to your posts.
  23. Yes, they would all do well at Division 1 level, but who do you realistically want to take over Rovers in the premiership and attract players of the calibre of Ferguson and Emerton because these managers wont.
  24. You will never be happy until everybody owns a Motorhead album I assume you will be HERE ON MONDAY
