Things could be worse, the dingles have decided to employ "Chico" at their next home game
I'll see your Chico and raise you with Adam Hosker.
Whats next at Ewood, the Cheeky Girls ???
-
Today was Dunnys best performance since rejoining us.. IMHO its his first real full 90 minutes without tiring at any stage.
His performances have been slowly getting better as time went on. Still a fair way to go, but he's nearly the Dunn we had before Souness/Bruce/Injuries ruined him.

Bloody hell, talk about dredging up topics from the deep..
Tickets FROM 45 pounds

(also....a bit too rude to post a link on here, but check out boro pat on Youtube....a middlesbrough version of Postman Pat. Yes it`s been done before but some of it is quite funny )
Thats surely worth a 7 day ban....
www.boropat.com
Bloody ace, but nowhere near work safe. Anywhere with mobile phone versions ?
-
Not intentional that Phil. You know me I cannot always tell the Woods from the trees.
Are you saying the woodlands are showing live away games... 7 day posting ban it is then
We havent actually stated a position on the dodgy sky stuff yet. Blatant advertising isnt tolerated mind. its a difficult one is that, as its certainly something I take advantage of from time to time.
-
I think they should hang up their drumsticks for three consecutive games next season.
You may be scared, but thats exactly the comment I made to Billy and (i think) Drummer Boy when talking to them in Amsterdam before the Feyenoord game.
-
same thoughts exactly- i really cant understand how they can sing that- i know a lot of the the Mancs don't like england but that song
is just wrong from an english club.
as for the drummers, I agree the personal insults are a bit harsh, but my god they are embarrassing.
I would rather have the away fans singing "shall we sing a song for you" than have the drummers banging "du-dududu"-
what is worse is MOTD & Sky always focus in on them.
whats the bet that at the first home game, as the back of the blackburn end start "santa cruz is coming to town" we get the usual
"bang bang bang- saaaaannnntttaaa cruzzzz"?
Your probably right.
Theres a fans forum meeting next week, and the DRUMMERS are keen to hear any alternative suggestions, and meet with people who can put something forward.
Come on down Blue Phil

Well , there we have it . It's what I've suspected for a long time . Just shows how representative these committees are ...
Theres also at least 2 who are fervently anti-drummer. (Me being one of them).
Rather than sit about bitching about atmosphere, why not suggest something and we can bring it forward ?
-
I believe they are represented on the Fans Forum and it seems opinion is strong but far from unanimous. To be honest, I'm glad I'm not too near to them myself due to the apparent "just bang it hard" tendency.
Bill is on the fans forum, and the chairman used to be a Blackburn end drummer. Then again, i'm incredibly against the
They are more than happy to talk about ways to improve the atmosphere, whether or not that involves the drummer. Theres a lot of talk on the internet, but i'm sure if people have genuine ideas to improve atmosphere at Ewood, then we can set something up.
-
I saw them live a couple of weeks ago at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They were great, and People Help the People has to be my single of the year so far.
Not got the album yet, but if that songs anything to go by it'll be a cracker
Also enjoying Maximo Park, Reverend and the Makers and Biffy Clyros latest efforts

Get a grip, he was only disagreeing with you. No need to be abusive.
He's been banned more times than he's had a wash. Obviously Axesfirsttouch/WakefieldRawks cant take people disagreeing with him.
-
Bloody made up language. They only speak it when the English are around.
Oh and Higgins to win it.
Almost a good call, looks like Selby could be pulling off a massive comeback. Going to be a late night.

Vinjay has sent the following in to brfcs after meeting with John Williams yesterday
Could you please tell the board members that I've met Williams? Yousaid I lacked credibility and you were right because I was ducking the
meeting initally....though I was considering other options at least. However
I think the other members have the right to know that I've spoken to him.
Maybe you should bring me back though that might be asking too much.
I've done what you wanted. I don't think one small favour informing members
of the meeting is asking too much. Feel free to post my e-mail address on
the board if anyone wishes to discuss confidential details with me.
vinjay@hotmail.co.uk if anybody really is interested.
-
Vinjay has pulled himself off the internet.
Are you going to question Williams on whether his supposed good friendJack
Walker would have wanted a manager/star player procliaming an inter3st
in
joining our arch rivals? Yes the same club who he refused to let
Shearer
join despite their bid being larger.
I see people have been asking about Vinjay's BRFC. Well I was the one
who
removed it. I opened it because many people on the boards said they
would
like to see me return. In that case I felt they would probably register
for
my site. As they didn't I felt it was a waste of time to keep it
open...though it still recieved more posts than the BRISA forum has in
months. Not that it cost anything but I have higher standards. I don't
accept mediocrity for eiether my website or my football club. I don't
suffer
from an inferiority complex. I don't care about what people think of
the
town but I will not accept such a complex being transferred over to the
club.
10 years of lies
The latest is that Williams is on course to enter the guinness book of
world
records for amount of lies told in print. If you expect me to believe
any of
that rubbish in his interview it's not going to happen. Virtually
everything
he said in those articles was a lie. Not just a lie but he's using lies
in
Jack Walker's name. You can't see what he's doing. He might think that
I'm
going to be silenced with bribes. That's all the season ticket scheme
is. Do
you think Williams has done it out of generosity? No he's done it to
strengthen his own comfort zone. There's no proof that the idea was
his. He
could easily have been tipped off that other clubs were planning cuts.
Everton have done the same but their fans can see what it is. They
protested
about lack of investment (their owners don't quite have 800 million
eiether)
and a few price cuts won't silence them. If Williams think price cuts
are
going to make up for what he's done to this great football club he
isn't
going to put me on a guilttrip. That's what it is. He's going to use it
as a
guilttrip agansit you every time someone criticised him. He's done it
to use
it against you not through the goodness of his heart!
Supposedly Jack Walker didn't understand inflation. Do you honestly
believe
Jack couldn't see the rates of inflation in transfer fees/wages? I
thought
Williams couldn't stoop any lower but he's putting false words in
Jack's
mouth. Why aren't you doing something about this? Jack promised that
funding
wouldn't decline and he was telling the truth. Funding has been reduced
and
Jack could have kept up with the inflation rates. Jack Walker didn't
make
promises he couldn't keep. Williams is using Jack for his own means.
He's
fooling all of you.
"The worst moment for me was unquestionably Jack Walker's death.
Firstly,
I'd lost a close colleague and a friend. And secondly I was also
extremely
worried we wouldn't recover as a club from that position."
He has some nerve to claim Jack was his friend. As for being worried
that
the cliub wouldn't recover?
http://archive.lancashireeveningtelegraph..../19/717845.html
You can't deny the lies. I don't care if it was Egerton-Vernon who said
it
Williams should have been honest with the fans. Then again why change
the
habits of a lifetime? Williams has successfully reinstalled a 80's
mentality
at this club. That's why all of you puit this club down at every
opportunity. You never used to do that. Jack Walker wouldn't have
wanted
that.
"I didn't foresee that happening, but Jack was very perceptive and he
did
tell me when I first came to the club that he felt it was an issue."
Yes but not perceptive enough to see the rates of inflation in transfer
fees? Williams didn't forsee a decline in ticket sales. That is an
admittance of incompetence and a complete faiiure as to why it
happened.
It's because of the nice release clause he put in Duff's contract. He
lied
about that. He lied about Bellamy's release clause. He's lieing when he
says
the club will do their best to hold onto top players. What's Pedersen's
release clause? Bentley's? Reid's?
"To be competitive on the pitch, and by that he meant qualifying for
Europe
and the top six."
Jack wanted to challenge for more than the top 6. He's lieing to you
all
again. Do you want me to bring up the quotes? Jack said the cluh would
always be challenging for top honours. He said money would not deline
which
it has. Williams must be laughing at how he's getting away with this.
"Brad Friedel. He's been absolutely superb."
Just about the only thing he said that I agree with.
"I think the one that got away was the one that we had - Craig
Bellamy!"
Yes and why was it he got away? Was it because of a secret deal with
Liverpool to take efefect after the early bird scheme was utilised to
full
effect? I was called a liar when I sqaid Bellmay had a release in his
contract. I wasn't lieing. Yet I still got abused for proving that I
was
right. Williams got away with it as usual. Andy Nield should have done
his
job and taken Williams to task. He's giving Williams an easy ride in
that
interview. He has Lee Grooby kissing up to him every day. He used to
have
his own views about the direction of the club. He's sold those views
and
become nothing more than a corporate puppet and a yes man to Williams.
As for part 2 of the interview Williams said he wonders what Jack would
have
wanted when making decisions. Did Jack want top players being sold
because
of release clauses. Did Jack want the manager constantly linked with a
club
he hated? Did Jack want mid table mediocrity season afater season? Did
Jack
want a reduction in transfer funds. Did Jack want his family to sit at
home
spending his money and not giving a damn about his football club?
As for all you people saying nobody (putting the club down as usual)
would
be interested in the club...well seeing as you believe Willaims lies
you
will probably believe that the club has had takeover offers? Do I
believe
it? I'm sceptical about whether there was interest and the size of the
offers. You can't blame me for being sceptical of whether Williams is
telling the truth. If true then it offers me the only encouragement I
can
take from the current situation. The last glimmering hope that someone
might
takeover the club and put an end to Williams reign of medicocrity. Well
97-98 was a great year.
rog of the rover-Top bloke, met him once in the club shop ages and ages
ago,
he said hello and was generally quite pleasant.
Quote from "thenodrog"
"From what I remember of last seasons column Rev's only crime was to
criticise the club publically just as last years 'hearts and minds'
campaign
to attract more fans was initiated. Not the best timing and from what I
can
gather a pressured John Williams went absolutely apeshit with the
editor.
You dont need to be Einstein to work out how much the LET needs to
foster
good relations with the Rovers (its about the only reason that I have
it
delivered), so it seems Rev was the sacrificial lamb."
Quote by "Anti Euro Smiths Fan"
"Could this possibly indicate a different side to Mr Williams'
character to
the one which has hitherto been praised to the rafters by other board
members?
"Is it possible that our smooth talking moustachioed Chief Executive
has a
"friendly face" in public - (The good-natured garrulous fellow that Den
encountered when he was invited into his office for tea and biscuits
and a
cosy chat for an hour and a half) - But this amiable side to his
character
can be offset by irascible short-tempered outbursts, as Thenodrog has
alluded to."
It seems to me that the criticisms Revidge had were perfectly
legitimate
viewpoints that he held about the club.
"For Mr Williams to allegedly "Go apes*it with the LET editor"
indicates an
unhealthy sensitivity to CRITICISM ON HIS PART."
His public act is all an image. He's fooling you all.
Would Jack Walker have wanted 2 key figures at the club proclimaing an
interest in joining Man Utd? As for that erformance on Saturday Hughes
showed the complete diregard he has for Jack afterwards. Not one
mention of
Jack or an apology from the arrogant one. You think he's self confident
and
reserved? No he's the very picture of arrogance. What we saw on
Saturday was
a Blackburn Rovers team and manager demonstrate that they couldn't care
less
about everything Jack Walker did for this football club.
Eiether you do something about this or I'll take the apprporriate (and
legal) measures in the next few weeks. Eiether that or in the next
couple of
weeks a new owner emerges and Williams dosen't want that. He only cares
about preserving his own position. It's all a lie. A complete and total
lie.
It has reached the point for Williams to resign before it's too late.

Whats happened to VinjaysBRFC !!
Has John Williams sent the heavy mob round to shut it down ?
-
The Count Down Has Begun - click
Well, not for the game but for the trailer still, it will be interesting to see what next gen has in store for this supurb series
I wonder where this will be set - Europe perhaps, or maybe another GTA London ?
-
4-3 Spurs, bad for us but great nonetheless
-
Got a funny feeling his website is most definitely not going to be work-safe.
Wonder if thats why Lee has pulled the links from the official site
Or is John Williams running scared ?
-
I've just put him on the list of banned words.
His latest post accuses BRISA of trying to sabotage his messageboard.
-
The guy is an obvious fruitloop. Have you seen his chants section where he's just replaced every instance of Burnley with ManU.
-
Putting aside the bad games for a moment, a game I strongly recommend everyone getting is Crackdown. Absolutely superb, I've been playing it constantly over the weekend.
grrr... waiting till the bloody thing comes out. Played a lot of the demo.

Who's the third? Dunn and Derbs is all I can come up with.
Paul Gallagher.

According to the LET, Toogs has had an international call up for this weeks friendly in Georgia, 3 years after he "retired"
