Thanks YET again to the narrow minded twots at BwD Council.
Or indeed the stupid twots who in their haste to have a pop at BwD council, forget that the games actually in Birmingham

The Krakow player has just been given a 5 match ban.
-
I've missed one away game out of that lot, can you guess which one it is?
Col, you also missed away cup games which we drew, drew and lost in recent years!
The one where Ian Pearce put us into Europe ?
-
No, but they could at least cut the 5 minutes of pre recorded bull i've altready read online you have to go through to find out that you are no 40 in a queue.
The floating fan could easily decide that it could be easier watching the game in the pub.

I just finished reading Fight Club. Pleasantly nasty misanthropy, the only problem is I read it in a few days and now I'm out of reading material.
Get Survivor or Invisible Monsters from the same author then. Similar style, but imho better, but prob because I read the book of Fight Club after the film. Survivor was supposed to be turned into a film, with Trent Reznor involved, but because of 911 it was shelved.

on a side issue, just rung up for villa tkts and was 40th in the queue!
You could use the Online Ticketing System... or at least you could if THEY ACTUALLY BOTHERED TO SELL TICKETS on it.

Also get freaked out im gonna get knocked onto the track
Probably by a member of this site.

everyone on here would be saying that it was never a goal.
Not true, we'd all be laughing about how we had got away with it. TBH Bolton have had more to complain about with Ball over the line decisions, as one not given against Everton a while back ended up relegating them.

Oh and by the way, i didnt drive to manchester, i got the train...!
I thought you couldnt do the Underground because you are disabled (or is that a lie as well)
Brighton to London means you take the tube from Victoria to Euston.
-
Actually you muppet i travelled up to my aunts house in manchester saturday and saw the match yesterday. Not that i should need to give you my travel plans.
Forgive me for being a bit tired
Would that be your travel plans that allow you to post from an NTL account in the Brighton area 2.5 hours after the game has finished.
If your going to troll on a messageboard, at least try and keep your story consistent.
Idiot.
People, please don't quote RTM. I have him on ignore,
Sorry, but it had to be said to the muppet.

poida...LOL
the lord nelson just round the corner from the rocks, is a favoured watering hole when i am in sydney. does a good pint and they also have alternative beers, like what we have never heard of before...it is also a nice place to drink. i know sydney rovers will be in on that, but hey....since when has he turned down the chance for a good session
lets get options from other folks who know sydney too!!
Will have to have another sess in the Nelsen, and back to your favourite curry house afterwards

I'd like to see Burnley in the Prem too ... intense derbies are fantastic for the sport.
Me too, Northern Premier League tho.
Radcliffe Boro V Burnley has a nice ring to it
-
Hell fire..
Good move, hopefully we can get these crowds well into the 20000's again.
-
Is there any UEFA rule on a percentage of the capacity which must be offered to the opposing side? If its 10% thats around 5000 can't see rovers taking that myself more realistic would be 2500 especially when you consider they only took this amount for celtic, i'm prediciting a mad scramble for tickets and an awful lot of disappointed people.
Its 5% of total capacity PLUS 200 for VIP's and they are on sale or return basis.

You just cant beat HOOKED ON A FEELING

As a consequence of us getting thru it appears the following games have been moved-
BOLTON (H)
VILLA (A)
WATFORD (A)
Thankfully Reading away is still a saturday 3pm kick off meaning I can go
-
Its no more than 15 mins.
Its about an hour, stopping at Den Haag and Schipol on the way. We used it during preseason.
-
To keep this readable, we should discuss each game on a seperate thread - can we keep this thread to general UEFA discussions.
-
Haha is that not champions league?!
Yep, Ignore that one.
-
Brilliant Basel....my now home town team as i reqested
.......
Can we all stay at yours I bet its at Ewood though.

How far is Cologne to Bayer Leverkusen???
www.bahn.co.uk - 13 minutes on the train.
Haven't worked that out yet, but it does seem to be the nearest international airport.
Does anyone know how long the computer-fixture-reshuffle takes ?
You'd be on Jet 2 to dusseldorf from LBA.
-
As Besiktas & Fenerbace are in C & D this can't happen I would have thought so surely there will be a bit of change.
Indeed there will be, I wouldnt book anything until the fixtures are confirmed. Also its possible that games could be moved to the wednesday on match days 4 and 5 because there is no champions league and we may end up on TV.
-
Are there any links to the goals?
A suggestion to the mods: a page with all the links to the goals in Rovers game wouldn't be a bad idea...
Er.. that would be www.roversworld.co.uk wouldnt it ?
Every time we get a post with what are illegal links to the goals we are very quickly asked to remove them.

Bert has updated his site with the following comment:-
Apparently the computer draw is not completely random. Until now it is most often found that a team plays at home against a team from the next lower pot, and (as a consequence) plays away against a team from the next higher pot (using a cyclic connection between pot 1 and pot 5).
Which would mean that we would be away to pots 1 & 3 by my reckoning. Still think it could change but we'll find out soon enough.
i'm pretty sure that the computer draw only actually takes into account the fixture conditions - ie no team from the arctic circle playing at home in december, and is structured to enable the top 2 seeded groups to have a home game as the last game. Resulting in as you say us playing somebody from pots 1 and 3

They are still doing those ridiculous attempts to put the goalkeeper off. It will be embarrassing to be seen on TV tonight.. thats if its on of course.
