  1. I just finished reading Fight Club. Pleasantly nasty misanthropy, the only problem is I read it in a few days and now I'm out of reading material.

Get Survivor or Invisible Monsters from the same author then. Similar style, but imho better, but prob because I read the book of Fight Club after the film. Survivor was supposed to be turned into a film, with Trent Reznor involved, but because of 911 it was shelved.

  2. Actually you muppet i travelled up to my aunts house in manchester saturday and saw the match yesterday. Not that i should need to give you my travel plans.

Forgive me for being a bit tired

Would that be your travel plans that allow you to post from an NTL account in the Brighton area 2.5 hours after the game has finished.

If your going to troll on a messageboard, at least try and keep your story consistent.

    Idiot.

People, please don't quote RTM. I have him on ignore,

Sorry, but it had to be said to the muppet.

  3. poida...LOL

the lord nelson just round the corner from the rocks, is a favoured watering hole when i am in sydney. does a good pint and they also have alternative beers, like what we have never heard of before...it is also a nice place to drink. i know sydney rovers will be in on that, but hey....since when has he turned down the chance for a good session

lets get options from other folks who know sydney too!!

Will have to have another sess in the Nelsen, and back to your favourite curry house afterwards ;)

  4. Is there any UEFA rule on a percentage of the capacity which must be offered to the opposing side? If its 10% thats around 5000 can't see rovers taking that myself more realistic would be 2500 especially when you consider they only took this amount for celtic, i'm prediciting a mad scramble for tickets and an awful lot of disappointed people.

Its 5% of total capacity PLUS 200 for VIP's and they are on sale or return basis.

    See page 18 on http://www.uefa.com/newsfiles/19070.pdf

  5. How far is Cologne to Bayer Leverkusen???

    www.bahn.co.uk - 13 minutes on the train.

Haven't worked that out yet, but it does seem to be the nearest international airport.

Does anyone know how long the computer-fixture-reshuffle takes ?

You'd be on Jet 2 to dusseldorf from LBA.

  6. As Besiktas & Fenerbace are in C & D this can't happen I would have thought so surely there will be a bit of change.

Indeed there will be, I wouldnt book anything until the fixtures are confirmed. Also its possible that games could be moved to the wednesday on match days 4 and 5 because there is no champions league and we may end up on TV.

  7. Bert has updated his site with the following comment:-

Apparently the computer draw is not completely random. Until now it is most often found that a team plays at home against a team from the next lower pot, and (as a consequence) plays away against a team from the next higher pot (using a cyclic connection between pot 1 and pot 5).

Which would mean that we would be away to pots 1 & 3 by my reckoning. Still think it could change but we'll find out soon enough.

i'm pretty sure that the computer draw only actually takes into account the fixture conditions - ie no team from the arctic circle playing at home in december, and is structured to enable the top 2 seeded groups to have a home game as the last game. Resulting in as you say us playing somebody from pots 1 and 3
