i don`t think leo is up to the level of football that is played in this division,it`s to much for him and he needs to be quietly spirited away back to scandanavia, the same with telalovic, neither of them are good enough

You could be right but they’re both our players now and for a few years…Best way to develop players is to send them out on loan to league 1.

JDTs biggest mistake of the Season, Whaldsted in goal. Watching him it's like a schoolboy between the sticks the size of him. If we don't get a result against Huddersfield next Saturday, it could be his downfall when the boos ring out and the chant turns to jdt out !!.

Pears got injured! Who else was he going to stick in next.

Leo was a risk buy, sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t…Sadly for him it’s not quite working out - He needs a loan.

It saddens me to say this, but I think JDT has to go. I think he is a great coach and a good guy, but sadly he's the right man at the wrong time. I'm sure he will go on to do well when he is supported financially. He persists with an ambitious attacking formation despite not having the necessary personnel. We need to do the basics right now to gather enough points to keep us in the Championship and he is unwilling to do this. I suspect he is making a point to the owners/directors by stubbornly playing his expansive style, but his protestations are now just becoming obstructive and it appears the players heads have gone and the wheels have come off. The amount of goals shipped is pathetic considering the decent defenders and holding midfielders we have and JDT has to take responsibility for this. The real nail in the coffin was the cut backs last summer and that's not JDT or GB's fault. Prior to that we wanted to adopt the 'Brentford model', but this requires decent financial backing otherwise you end up with the recruitment team having to perform miracles and take risks on unproven bargain basement talent like Leo and Semir and in reality its unlikely to work out. We are adopting more of a Crewe Alex model now and we are heading down either this season or next. I think we need a Nathan Jones character to reinvigorate the squad and work on a shoestring. That being said, we are just delaying the inevitable whilst the owners continue to orchestrate our managed decline.

    Good post and agreed.

Isn't this the Rovers rumours page that is run by that billy bullshitter that infested the summer transfer thread?

I'll wait until a credible source reports something thanks.

Back to the John Bulls and Tea Cakes....

Andy Bayes confirmed and their manager was “tight lipped” on the situation…so seems true.

JDT doesn’t want him to leave, probably because he and GB know the funds won’t go back into a replacement.

We've missed Gallagher whilst he been out injured, I would have thought that was obvious for all to see.

I'm not saying don't sell him if a decent offer came in, he's never going to be a 20 goal a season man, but we've missed the lad, we've missed his work ethic and he's a senior member of the squad, we are missing some of them!

Agree but If we do not sell him this window he leaves on a free in summer.

Watching Wigan v Man U. Wigans right winger No 17 looks better than anything we have! L1 is probably too expensive a shop for us though...

Yeah looks good, he’s on loan from Fulham. He’s not afraid to take players on, something our wingers don’t have in their DNA.

First thing to worry about is getting enough fans on to ensure we aren't outnumbered by that circus. They'll bring a lot and probably fill their allocation (probably would go close even without the media nonsense).

Once again the ball is in Waggott and Rovers' court to ensure we at least try to get a healthy gate on (far more needed than the numbers against Cambridge) yet I suspect he'll instead spend his time concocting some new scheme to deter or frustrate potential buyers.

Yeah can easy see a 14k attendance with 7k away fans to be honest.
