  1. Yeap over a week ago it was reported...Then add a day or 2 before hand for your standard delay in reporting etc...Pasha says no.
  2. All signings are a gamble, the club might be looking at an opportunity where a clause can be triggered to get a bargain price. I like Batth but if we can get this French lad across the line then, for me, it's a good start to the window...At least we know our recruitment team are being slightly adventurous.
  3. Means absolutely nothing. Ligue 1 is a tough league with the majority of teams being a lot better than championship clubs...A handful of Luton players walk into our team and they're in league 1.
  4. Batth leaving and us signing a player who's younger and on a longer contract is surely a better result no?
  5. A sensible post - IF we can get Sagnan over the line, then on paper, it's one of the better signings we've made over the past few windows.
  6. This bloke has 3 more years on his contract and has a valuation of 3million euros...Will certainly be taking up a large chunk of our budget unless he has a clause in his contract?
  7. I've watched Wharton a lot this season and thought yesterday was one of his okay games.....Amazing you still see great comments about him based on average performances...He's going to the very top!
  8. Disagree with this, I think Pep is one of the more humble managers when it comes to loosing, especially in this press after games...Henderson is a wind up merchant and for me should have just kept his head down instead of giving it the "I am"...He shouldn't have been on the pitch for Christ sake.
  9. And yet there are still people who defend this ownership?
  10. My point is Carter is currently our biggest asset (value wise) yet at the same time he is easily replaceable...Sell.
  11. If we are generating money to bring players in then, for me, Carter would be the first on the list - he wouldn't be missed.
  12. I wonder if we'll go back in for that Youan from Hibs.
  13. Now is the time to sell Carter, if we get a reasonable bid. He spends too long on the sidelines to keep.
  14. Unless we have current CBs leaving then spending a massive chunk of our budget on Sanderson would be madness.
  15. Dolan has grown on me over the season. I wasn't his biggest fan as he just frustrated the hell out of me, mainly offensively...Constant step overs, poor decision making, all without making any ground. I fear for Dolans future going to Boro...I can't see him getting as much game time there as he would for us...I totally understand why as he'll be on 3 fold more than he is here. Clubs need to understand what he brings, I keep seeing "quick"..."Direct"...Although I think he's improved on the latter, he still can't really beat his man...There was an incident against Sheffield United in the first half when he held the ball up (like he does) and almost had a stand off with their left back, he went to shimmy past him but just got stepped into and lost possession. If Boro want a quick, out n out winger then they arnt getting that with Dolan. They are getting Energy and someone who gives 100% but for me everything else is below par...With all of the above in mind and me being, maybe over critical, we will miss him...Would be good to get an out n out right winger though.
  16. Players you've listed will want to aim higher than Derby....They'll be looking at teams like West Brom, Ipswich, Birmingham, etc...Irrespective of how good people think Eustace is, Derby won't be finishing anything higher than 10th next season, and that's being generous. I'd even stick my neck out and say we'll finish above them.
  17. Alot of people speaking about Bundu, not someone I've really seen much or tracked at all...He's quite a tall lad, is he a number 9? Is he quick?
  18. 100% no to Riis, his overall game is poor, nobbers want rid.
  19. Funny how Dennis, on paper, was probably our most exciting attacker we've signed in a while, yet he's literally offered nothing. Kargbo still raw so not going to give him much slack, he's a useful player and perhaps not the game for him when he came on. Really happy for Toth, happy we will start next season with a decent keeper. Our Back line has battled well all season, our down fall has been uptop - Not enough quality in the final third.
