For example, this happens when Brereton scores a hat trick…

How this isn’t being seriously monetised by the club is beyond me. Quite frankly, I think BRFCS is earning more from Chilean fans than Rovers are.

I been trying to think of ways how we could monetise the Diaz wave. I would be really interested to know If there was an uplift in Ifollow subscriptions for people in Chile to watch him play.

Spurs get a big following from Korean fans because of Son, but I guess that’s London and probably not many Chileans In Lancashire.

I know we released that Diaz t shirt, but Chileans probably have their own version anyway.

We released our limited edition third kit, didn’t have any stock, and then when we did, didn’t have any letters to have his name on the shirt anyway.

So it seems all  we will do is post pics of him on Insta. A Spanish Rovers social media page may be a good start.

I know you’re not mate, it’s just led me to an interesting thought process. How many Rovers “fans” would you say there are left? I honestly think sub 25K nowadays.

Maybe slightly higher. When you think of the attendance at the Oxford game plus the following of southern fans. QPR the other night for example heard a lot more southern accents and the atmosphere in our end was notably subdued which I also link to being more non regular away fans then usual lot on a Tuesday night in London.

We have thousands of fans that don’t currently have season tickets….

This site in no way represent the Rovers fan base at large.

Spot on and a point I’ve made before. If you read the comment here during the match, it’s the same negative people playing down our wins.

Meanwhile, the rest go to the games and appreciate the effort more, have more of a connection to the players, and can celebrate the wins.

You can see comment on this thread today slating Gallagher and Dolan mid game.

I respect all opinions and no fan is better then another, but I know which type of fan I would rather be.

It's not waggots money either🤷‍♂️.  Without doubt Mogga gets involved in talking money and salary with prospective new players.

Yeah I said he does. Mowbray is bottom of the food chain. He can say offer Rothwell 20k a week, Waggott can then say no. If Waggott says yes, Venkys can say no. Venkys can say yes, then Rothwell can say no.

You can’t seriously think Mowbray doesnt want to keep his best players. Do you think Mowbray wants loans every year? Of course not. He would rather sign the top players.

When it's not true? Mogga is well in there for the talks..fact.

Of course he’s in the talks, but it’s not his money. If we offered all we can and Rothwell wants more then that’s on the owners and Waggott to sort out.

Doesnt matter who our manager is, if a player wants more then the club will give him.

Benched for todays game v Leeds.

Came on as sub and did OK.

A Southampton win without him in the starting line up could mean more time sat down.

Not surprised he’s struggling in the prem. The year he was getting all out goals we were dominating games possession/chances wise. He was never a one chance grab a goal kind guy. Summed up in the game against United early in season where he was through on goal late on for the win and didn’t finish it.

Apart from the Facebook crew, did anyone actually back mowbray anymore?

I would've thought he'd lost the entire crowd by now

Interesting you say Facebook crew. I’m not on it so don’t know who they back.

But as a season ticket holder, and one who goes most away games, Mowbray is backed generally.

Ewood crowd to be honest I don’t think gives a ####. They turn up watch go home and unless we score about 60 people sing.

Away everyone is just having a good time and backing the team. Odd person says not happy etc, but as a collective we back the team (and manager).

So to me, it seems the Mowbray out crew is Twitter and message boards like this, and I can only think if they all came to games maybe their voice be heard.

  8. I couldn’t make the game today, as soon as it went 2-1 with out seeing or reading anything I knew we would collapse. So frustrating this keeps happening.

Trying to read through comments and get a true grasp of the game.

I will be at QPR but I’m going in not expecting a thing from that game, can’t see our team pulling off a win there.

Watched "our" episode and cried a few tears.   We are lucky buggers.

Brought back so many good memories and is a great documentary. It is a bit United heavy but at the time they dominated so to be expected.

I thought we had great coverage series 2 and was great to re-live it.

Always annoys me when they make out we brought the league. United signed their biggest rivals (arguably) best striker for 7 million mid season, and still didn’t win it. That be like City buying Salah mid season in these days.
