The annoying thing out of all of this is McKenna being all high and mighty about it when you know if the roles were reversed he’d be fuming that the last 10 minutes weren’t played.

I’ve seen nothing from Tavares. Strolls around like a player who thinks he has it all yet cost us the game against Birmingham, was diabolical yesterday (I’d have taken him off regardless of how many men we had). Was okay against Hull when most others excelled around him. His best performance was a 6/10 against Bradford…it’s a fairly moot point anyways, him and Forshaw are both shite.

Maybe a slight exaggeration but Montgomery will never make it, Tavares has been good awful so far too, thinks he can walk through a championship game. Have you seen much from either? I don’t rate forshaw at all but at least towards the end of last season he’d come on and help us hold a lead. I wouldn’t dare bring either of the other two on to preserve a one goal lead.

Can bin off the last two, maybe last three, for me. To say Forshaw looks the best of those three is scary. For me a midfielder is an absolute must. What do they do if Tronstad is out for a bit like last season??

Got to agree to a point. There’s obvious issues in the club. But at the same time, players like Travis and Dolan have been regulars here for years and we’ve achieved nothing. So at some point the dice may as well be rolled.

Always got the feeling he preferred JDT to Eustace though. One of very few it seems.

Just that he had that really strong season or so with us. Before that did fine for Peterborough and last season, obviously in a league above, grabbed a couple of goals but struggled, as did the rest of his team. I’m sure he’ll grab a few goals this season but it won’t be anywhere near what he did for us and he’s not exactly young in footballing terms so I feel like he won’t be a starter by the end of this season. Could be wrong of course, just a feeling.

Eustace must have personality behind the scenes he doesn’t show as I don’t know why there’s such a love for him from players. He comes across really bland and a bit vacuous to me. Mind you that probably describes a lot of footballers too.
