Would be happy with the young Everton lad. Very highly rated, and had all the attributes to be successful. But we should sign 2 CBs and hopefully the left back who likes to argue. Lol!

He could not get in the starting eleven at Fylde, would he start for us ahead of AA? Never in a millon years.
Nobody said that. It is if AA has been sold.
I can only judge what I have seen with my own eyes, and the young lad is very talented.
If we got £20 million I would sell AA.

I'm not a medical expert but although it's a different injury it's probably as bad as Dack's
Yeah, I have had Achilles problems for about 8 months. Starting to feel better now, though running difficult. I can cycle many miles though.
At least he is a centre back..

AA's a striker.
A striker/winger like Brennan.

Never seen him play - why couldn't he get in Fylde team ? Be surprised if a player that can't even get in their team would be recalled for AA
He took his goal very well for us in a preseason sub game, and won the ball and set up Dolan in another sub appearance.
Always looks lively to me. I think he would be a handy substitute option.

You thought Brennan being recalled meant we were selling AA?
Yes, he is left sided and plays the same positions AA does.

Luke Brennan cant even get in to a national league side AFC Fylde and has now been recalled. Thats strange, is he so bad?
I rate him very highly.
Thought at first it meant Armstrong was on his way. Brennan suits our front 3 system perfectly.

I'd have still sent Douglas back. We have Bell and Downing for the moment.
Dear God. Downing's legs have absolutely gone. No chance he can be at left back. We should never have signed him.
Douglas isn't great, but played well at right back the other day and I'd versatile.

To be fair Trybull was the best of the three of Travis and Downing. Winning back a lot of balls that Travis and Downing lost.
100 percent. I have been quietly impressed with him last few games.
Downing is too slow imo And Trav still a little off the pace.

Unfortunately, despite being very pleased initially with our summer business you are somewhat correct.
Good:
The Belgium.
Elliott -although only a loan.
Dolan - although having Elliott is actually hindering his development.
Okay:
Downing - not really involved yet few decent cameos, depends on how much we are paying him.
Trybull- certainly wouldn't sign him but a slight upgrade on Evans.
Bad:
Ayala- maybe okay if he was ever fit. Imagine he's on a fair wage. Was always the risk and the risk meant we should have signed a 2nd CH.
Douglas- on paper looked a great signing. He just doesn't look like he's motivated to play for us.
Pears- would be the last player on our team likely to catch Covid.
Unknown:
The Greek- looked okay but must not be any good if butter fingers is ahead of him.
Downing would be in the bad section imo. Far too slow. Ayala I have still hope for. Probably needs someone pacy beside him. As he was excellent when Nyambe played alongside him.

I remember a certain no Charlie returning before his time; why not Douglas. Maybe Bell can give him some company.
Pickering sounds decent. And Crewe have been overachievers.

Signing the likes of Pickering makes good sense PROVIDING he's being signed to play and not sit on the bench for 3 months whilst he 'learns how we play and learns the position from Bell and Douglas'!!!
Just turned 22 with a decent reputation, over six feet tall and close on 150 first team games to his name, sounds promising.
I think it's clear he's being signed now as Douglas hasn't cut the mustard - in fact, IMO, he's proven to have been another poor and expensive signing. Sadly, much of our our summer business doesn't, IMO, seem clever when looking at Pears, Ayala, Downing and Trybull - a small fortune in wages and fees (transfer, loan and agents).
Trybull and Ayala could be okay in the long run.

We need Dolan more than we need Whiteman. 🙂
Holtby has been poor since returning my from the Corona virus.

Hopefully Carter going means we are signing the young Everton lad and Kipre.

Pears
Pike Lenihan Maglorie Douglas
Davenport Dack Travis
Dolan Gallagher Butterworth

And yet he could have got the Goal of the Season after a brilliant piece of skill; not to mention his helping out with defensive duties when required. He has the talent of that I have no doubt. He’s just lacking that little bit of luck and/or rub of the green.
I am aware I’m in the minority here!Yeah, and it wasn't even shown on the TV highlights show! Really shocking coverage.
So close to a Matt Le Tisier special.

He wouldn’t be a finished product...my concern is he’s not that good in the air. How many times has he misjudged crosses in the box. That’s a pretty critical quality for a center half.
He's good in the air defensively.
His first touch would be my concern.

He gets into a lot of good goalscoring positions and scores well over half of them?
Not really. He has missed more chances than 11. Remember him missing 9 chances in one game.
Him being caught offside annoys me the most though.

Some really strange comments on here today, some saying what a load of crap and some like Philip with some praise, how fickle fans are and how they see games in a different perspective, however i still think Mr Mowbray needs a kick up the backside.
Very good first half, and a poor second really. Played a few too many long balls in the second half imo.
Birmingham do look a poor side.

In regards to any talk of the referee, has anyone seen back the incident in the first half where they looked to have a strong penalty appeal for a trip by Bell prior to us scoring on the break?
I wouldn't have given it.
There was zero threat on goal and the lightest of touches.

Gallagher had a good game. Some great defensive tracking back. Worth his place IMO.
Yes, he was our best player in the first half imo. Gallagher's defensive ability is important when Nyambe was missing.
Pity he didn't get that goal, would've been fantastic.

Brilliant from Kaminski at the end.
Johnson did very well defensively.
Davenport and Travis brilliant in the middle.
Best Armstrong performance in a while.
Gallagher worked his socks off.
Dolan superb when he came on.
Elliott, Rothwell, Brereton not at their best, that’s why this is a squad game.
And welcome back Dacky!!!
Agree with everything you said Amigo.

Sounds like you are in the wrong place sir.
I'll certainly be paying my £10. Am glad the Venks have kept supporting us in these troubled times.
