Ayala starts up top at Swansea then.
Personally I'd go for BBD with Khadra..

Let's not forget that Parker is a shite manager.
But despite that I still think we'll be fighting for a top 6 place. QPR will overtake us.
We needed someone to shoulder the burden of knocking goals in and if anyone can't see that they must be either stubborn or need an optician.People forget we are 2nd despite other teams already having better players than us.
Tony has stumbled on a system that works great. While we are defensively solid we have every chance of second. Bournemouth have no chance of catching Fulham..

Butterworth nowhere good enough for a top championship side...must be better strikers out there....
He has a lot of talent. Sadly though he hasn't worked anywhere near hard enough..

Historically, deadline day has only been frustrating and disappointing when we haven't made any window signings.
We have made signings, and we are just trying to see what falls into place in terms of adding one more by midnight, but that will be a bonus.
I would keep Davenport as attacking cover, as he has looked good off the bench in our winning run.
Johnson will do a better job than posters think, as we get to the sharp end.
We can do this, but a lot depends on the form of Khadra and Ben....
Butterworth as attacking cover you mean. Johnson's legs are gone imo. Still great for bringing on in last 20 minutes to see out a game though.

Hedges isn’t well regarded in Scotland
Incorrect. Many Aberdeen fans rate him very highly. Bit one footed though. Looked fantastic training today. 🙂

Clearly not many have had the pleasure of seeing our 6'4" sixteen year old centre back, Ash Phillips in action?.....he'd step up to the first team mark next week, given the opportunity to do so and would excel. He's exceptional but just one of a wealth of young talent that will come through in the next 2/5 years and are good enough.
Yeah, I think he is 6th choice after Nyambe possibly being moved there. Yep, he Wharton and Leonard look like real talents. 🙂

So we’ve basically got confirmation of Giles to come and that’s it? Another enthralling deadline day
Zeefuik, Hedges and Giles are cracking signings from what I can see (sad about the young lad from Spurs)
Would like to see an old sub goalkeeper and a striker. There is still plenty of time, and with 3 more of our young strikers ready to go on loan I'd imagine we must be pretty confident.

hopefully they mean in regards to incomings. or maybe the Giles deal is done and dusted rovers are holding back on announcements until the bell tolls!
He's on his way for a medical last I heard.
Don't think he needs the lights on in Wolverhampton for that. 🙂

We are. And a reliable goalkeeper short, and a CB short.
We have 4 excellent CBs..
I would like us to sign an old experienced Gk though.

Three of those are very good players who will make a difference, turn draws into victories
Bournemouth showing how it should be down to get over the line. Second automatic spot has been decided
No chance. Unless they replace Parker with Joe 90.

I wouldn’t want an Armstrong return. Diaz back out wide and Armstrong playing for himself and shooting on sight.
Me too. Talented as Armstrong and Elliott are they don't do any real defensive work.

Sounds like a terrible one. The English League One move sounded alright. If he is going there his Rovers career is basically over.
Sounds like we didn't want to sell him to Charlton. I see that as a positive sign.

Butterworth, Chapman Davenport Vale, McBride all possibly going out on loan
Hope that means 2 or 3 players definitely coming in.

Cantwell on loan for the remainder of the season with option to buy. 23yr old out of the Norwich team and would fit nicely in replacing Joe Rothwell
P.s. apologies Fraserkirky its tagged a quote that I responded to earlier and won't let me remove it
Lot of reports saying Bournemouth in are set to sign him too.

Every player has a price and I would pay £5m for him. What did we pay for Gally and Brereton?
I would too. Could be the difference between us being in the first 2 or playoffs.

All this narrative on this board tonight is very surprising...
Rothwell has been in our top 3 players this season.....
Now he's shit🤣
3 goals and 5 assists?
Giles has 9 assists from a poor side and in a deeper position.
Our defence, goalkeeper, Trav, Buckley, Khadra and Diaz are all more important that the traitor.

So if someone contacted you and offered six times your salary you wouldn't be curious and want to know a bit more about it?
Sorry, anyone who says they wouldn't isn't being truthful there.
Anyone with a brain would wait until the end of the season. And then choice the team in the Premier league. Are we not giving the players a bonus for promotion also?
