I just cant fathom this attitude, you dont care? I dont fully believe it, youve posted here for a start, will you not be attending or even watching?

Its a tie against the side that finished 4th last season in the Premier League for a place in the FA cup quarter finals. An unlikely upset and we are a game from Wembley and would get a huge boost. Whats the point if days like that are just dismissed as an unwanted inconvenience?

Taking this serious doesnt have to be a terminal blow to our chances of staying up.

Hear hear! Can’t stand that attitude it’s the attitude Mowbray had, remember that 1st round against Wigan we didn’t bother so we expected us to really focus on promotion and we still fucked it

go back to 2002 the cup was probes seen as a distraction by many alike this poster even in a relegation battle most the season and we won the league cup that actually kicked us on from there And we finished midtable in the end

06/07 did well in Europe, narrowly knocked out by the best team to drop out the champions league yet still got to the fa cup semis again unlucky to not win that and we finished 10th

a win tonight will give everyone a huge boost and another quarter final where we could draw a big home or away Tie, imagine getting city or Liverpool down ewood full house ? Or even at their place ? Should always respect the cups they can turn a boring season into a decent one

  2. Don’t get the moaning ? Eustace first objective is to keep us up regardless of brand of football, people were moaning about jdt’s football and rightly so that got us nowhere, you can’t play city style with championship or lower standard players, plus intense training system that has clearly contributed to ridiculous amount of injuries, also on top of that he moaned about needing experience yet loaned two of them out who are also academy lads cause he had fallen out with them then he’s gone a month later so travis sitting on the Ipswich bench is a waste when we need him now more than ever, Buckley coming back is a god send cause imagine if he never got injured in Sheffield and was still there ? Our midfield would be piss weak only tronsdad as a decent player.

First thing any manager worth his salt knows is you tighten up your defence then worry about the other areas that’s what he’s doing.

we ain’t gonna see the best of eustace until next season, it’s about getting the basics back and building the foundation to move forward, Travis back in summer to reunite with Buckley is already gonna make our midfield look a lot better, biggest thing I criticise jdt for is leaving us short cause of his ego, Travis as option  could have seen us best Preston alone. gilesnan is a long term replacement for szmodics too.

the 532/352 is what’s best suited to us, we’ve no decent out and out wingers to play a winger system our squad is bette suited to wing backs, brittain and Pickering are not the best defensively especially on a consistent basis so they tend to look better knowing they have that cover to be able to do their attacking roles. Gallagher stays on then we need a couple strikers, you look at why pne are solid in this league and flirt with play offs a bit is cause they have 4 decent goalscorers as strikers that’s what’s gathered my attention and what we need, Dolan isn’t good enough in any position tbh or at least his consistency is poor so I would rid of him n the summer for cash, Leanord Garret, semir needs loans out, deadwood like Markanday out too.

I don’t know about you guys but would like to see mcfadzean stay on as player defence coach beyond the summer which leaves us with defensive options Wharton, hyam, Carter, o’riordan, mcfadzean which is much healthier than over the last so many years and well balanced

Overall, It was a good point and we got something from the game which we rarely do there.

Of course after being 2 nil up and comfortable, a mad 5 minutes cost us sadly 3 points.

We scored 2 very good goals from passing the ball quickly forward. Sammie Szmodics does what he does best and Gallagher's finish is quick cos I don't think Woodman expect him to finish with the outside of the right foot.

I thought Wharton and Garrett were poor for the second goal from the original open play not getting closer and tighten to Frokjaer-Jensen. On the second goal, Hedges should clear it. Pears would have save it without the touch on the ball from Hedges

Second half, It was both teams not wanting to take a risk to win the game but happy with a point.

I thought Brittain and Hedges did very well as wing backs and we stop their main danger man in Liam Millar from impacting the game. Hyam and McFaz were good at the back. Gallagher and Szmodics worked their socks off up front. Thought Wharton was poor and Garrett was also poor and very poor positional for the first half

I thought overall we were much better defensively from open play and more solid and organised. Like I said in the Eustace's thread he is trying to make hard to beat and much better defensively organised like Mark Hughes did when he took over. It is about picking points up and staying up. Eustace and his staff need to sort our defending from Set Pieces cos we need to better and I would be focusing on this in training this week.

The fans was fantastic yesterday and It was pleasure to be there watching myself. The players and Eustace came over the fans at the end of the game and properly saluted the fans who have made the effort of going and paying £30 pounds to watch it and back the team from start to finish.

Overall, it's away point and another point on the board.

John Eustace's Blue and White Army 🔵

It strictly true in regards to getting results at deepdale we haven’t lost there in the last 4 visits, last year we only drew cause of a freak OG we win 4-1 and 3-0 before then lost 3-2 and 4-1  3-2 the years before and won 2-1 before that, our record at deepdale is t bad at all it’s ewood where we struggle but Preston are a bogey who 8/10 get undeserved results against us, the only times you can say fair enough is when we lost 4-1 all the others they didn’t deserve what they got, again at ewood the only time they deserved the result they got was the 4-1 which was cause we was that bad the rest they either scabbed an undeserved win or even draw they get the rub of the green a lot against us

  4. Jdt has fucked us by getting rid of trav only to leave a month later when we could have done with Travis especially today, Garret came on meant holes in the middle appeared which allowed Preston freedom which lead to the goals.

Eustace just has to get results, he has no time until the international break to put any of his ways onto the team so it’s about just getting results, don’t think we will see the true ways until next season, like with Birmingham he came in stabilised even then had then Sitting pretty until the yanks had a blunder. Buckley coming back may just give us that boost too.

the court case is next month so hopefully the Indian government sting the venkys into enforcement of selling us

  5. As said above I’ve never know a rovers side to be so soft, easy for bang average teams like Preston to bully us, this team lacks spine. We’ve lost our real creative source too and not replaced him which is what makes things look even greyer, not optimistic about this at all, our derby record has been piss poor since we got relegated to the championship originally. Preston are by no means a good side but are organised and hard working but as pointed out above again they would be more suited to playing jdt, this is the game that will really show how the new coach really is, taking these gobshites down a peg or two on Saturday would be a real statement

Work with a PNE fan at work  he says they are a team setup to allow opposition to have the ball and would be more of optimistic of winning if JDT was still our manager he says when PNE have the ball their shit

Exactly they are a shitbouse team always have been, at ewood we battered them yet they still manage to shithouse it, only twice since we started playing them again in 2015 you could say they deserved the win which was the two 4-1’s but we was piss poor in both so not hard, the rest they haven’t deserved any of the results they have had against us. Very true that this game would suit them more against jdt, Birmingham played some good stuff but they are a better footballing side than Preston, Preston are just typical championship cloggers and grafters, poor side in terms of quality but know how to grind a win.

a pne fan I know says they can only play for 60 minutes before they tire so I said it reminded me of mowbrays rovers… we could never do 90 minutes under him

Guessing their fanbase are taking Lowe as the second coming again? He was dead meat to most a month ago.

Those Nobbers need to be careful what they wish.

Yeap knobbers are as fickle as they come, lowe has been in a constant cycle of out and in, they get a few games together he’s the best thing then they will go on a lose a few and he’s awful

Disgraceful to allow Jack's home to look like this.

Watching the Stoke City vlog from one of their supporters in the upper tier, it's clear that the club don't bother cleaning the roofs, either. They are filthy and I can't imagine it actually saves money in the long run if they are allowed to gather muck and corrosive substances. Filthy, shoddy, and embarrassing.

I do not mind the club saving money where it's sensible to do so, but this is totally undignified and shows no sense of care towards supporters.

As with the stuff dumped behind the Riverside, Waggott will wait for a supporter to personally point it out to him before reluctantly doing something about it. The bloke just waits to be prompted, but then I suppose a CEO's job is to be told what to do.

Forget everything else. Waggott should go on this sole basis. He has no pride in this club and the supporters. Small wonder he is widely hated. He's happy to save a few thousand quid a year if nobody notices the grimy state of our beloved home.

We need a CEO who at least shows that he cares about the supporters rather than sticking two fingers up at them from a safe distance.

Yes the place looks filthy, even the big screen. Is fucked, and yes I raised concern about the back of the riverside being a dump yard like something out of the north west counties league it’s not on that a once proud stadium has ended up like this, should be making use of the riverside and tarting up the place like what dingles did with their shit wooden main stand, it’s embarrassing that it’s been left in that state

Looks like tickets are now on sale towards the end blocks… they certainly weren’t close to them a few days ago!

I wasn’t gonna bother if jdt was still here cause the guy hadn’t bothered since Christmas’s and I could stand a crushing effortless defeat at knob end even when I live down the road from deepdale but soon as the new man came in I found my enthusiasm and purchased tickets, we are block p which is block left from the central block so a lot obviously wasn’t gonna bother, bit like that year we went there under coyle and sales on the day got us over the 3k mark I was one who finished work mid day that day and decided to go so rushed home got changed and on a bus to Preston so it jdt had still been here which would have meant certain defeat to Stoke then I think we would get 3.3k on tops. Goes to show how much feel good factor plays in crowd support

Why the **** are we loaning a 21 year old defender. It's the most pointless transfer decision ever. We have Hyam, Wharton, McFadzean, O'Riordan and then Gamble as our own youngster (that's without even accounting for the injured Carter).

We do not need a 21 year old loaned defender. I'd barely accept it if we were paying £0 fee and £0 wages each week, as it's a waste of a loan spot.

Totally agree no sense in this at all

    What did anyone expect??

Venkys end of transfer window play book.

    1. Sell players for big fee.

    2. Some bullshut excuse to not spend any money.

    3. Money goes missing once summer comes.

This time they decided to just skip the excuse and say flatly no money.

I would rather bring down the club in flames then limp along with this cancer that is venkys

I would take admin to het rid of these scumbags, my dream is local ownership

  12. If this shit happens then I will have lost the last remaining enthusiasm I had left for this club. Only reason I’m going Saturday is cause my friend is over from Ireland who kindly paid for us to go hospitality and the Newcastle game cause my 11 year old brother rang me at nearly midnight wanting to go so I’m going for his sake like I have been all season as we all know kids don’t understand the politics of football it’s just what happens on the pitch that counts for them and I had to explain that our owners are filth.

really hope this all ends well and it’s all been exaggerated cause it will put the club in a very embarrassing situation and no player or agent in the right mind will deal with us again under this ownership.

Got a niggly feeling the Wharton deal will go through then not leaving us enough time for incomings meaning they did it on purpose to cash in and not put back in while blaming it on Wharton deal taking too long.

if we get fucked over today ladies and gents it’s time for a full scale boycott/protest, no room for happy clapping

Yeah I heard a few saying 'see you back here' in the summer. Ain't going to happen. Even if JDT goes and the next bloke fancies him there's too much gone on now.

We wanted his wages off and that's all there is to it, so the 'powers that be' will be hoping Ipswich love him so they'll come along with some cash early on in the summer window. Win win for Waggott and co. A well timed cash boost, big wage gone and all profit on an academy player.

It really is sickening, especially when imbecilic Rovers fans start playing the 'poor little Rovers' routine, Ipswich being a club in League One for years and the definition of mediocrity for the decade prior to that.

But another club that has more than we have - pride, ambition, determination - so I'm sure it will be like chalk and cheese moving down there to a club with an aim rather than just existing to develop particular players and keep people in jobs and favour with India.

I don't want to support such an organisation, not at top end prices and having the mick taken out of me. I can take crap but not when we are being laughed at by those upstairs.

Have to agree, tbh I’m fed up and bored of this cycle we’ve had for 12 years, go through shit get into a solid position to love forward but the manager isn’t good enough and we refuse to sack him till it’s too late then end up back in the shit with a manager who can’t do it and no money again. I really can’t be arsed and I’m glad I can’t afford season tickets anymore cause now I don’t have to commit to tuning my Saturdays anymore, live in Preston nowadays but would rather come over Blackburn way to watch darwen than rovers, least it’s a fantastic set up down there and proper football.

its gotten to the point that I would be happy to see admin and a year or two in l1 just to get pride ownership again, all I ask is to support a proper football club where the fans are at heart and everyone is pushing in the right direction, don’t care if we have a tight budget still cause it would be worked properly like Luton and how we did in the mid to late 2000s, don’t care about big money
