Been a fan since 93, but never been so indifferent to the club as I am now, and that as a awful feeling as a fan. I think the bad run last season is to blame, and it is not because we did not win matches, but it is the lack of action and commitment from the owners.

I did not renew my iFollow for this season, mainly because of Mowbray, and so far I have not regreted it. I check the results, but I am not looking forward to the matches as much as I used to do, and usually do some other stuff when we play. Because you will have the feeling, even how bad we will play (again), there is not going to be any change of the manager. It is like a rudderless ship. Weak CEO and and a weak manager.

But hopefully he can't be manager for Blackburn as long as he want (or can he?)

And our next manager should be Ketil Knutsen btw. Probably unknown to everyone here, but have done wonders with Bodø/Glimt in Norway. Won the league last year and tonight they demolished Rome 6-1! (Mourinho's worst defeat ever I think). The football his team are playing is amazing to watch at times.

Because Knutsen is gonna swap European football and demolishing Mourinho's teams for the Mad House at Ewood!

  2. Fury has 1 or 2 fights left. If AJ can beat Usyk then It's the battle of Britain. Usyk wins the rematch and Fury v Usyk for the Undisputed Champion. Then possibly Fury v AJ.

For me, AJ stands a better chance against Fury than he does Usyk and I'm not writing him off yet, like a lot of people are.

Hats off to Fury, I could never really warm to him, but the last 2 fights have proven he is the Best Heavyweight since Klitschko.

Bad news. We'll be slaughtered with our pop-gun attack.

On the other hand our batsmen will be terrorised

Need Archer wood and Stokes to be fully fit. No chance.

We are getting whitewashed without Stokes or Archer. Could be our worst tour since Flintoff captained us.

Its the only game I played now on the PC. Yes it does take time up but thats the point for me of these types of games.

Plus I can play this whilst watching live football on TV.

My ex hated me playing these sort of games cos it got more attention than she did

I had FM 21 on the PC but then my daughter broke the laptop, so I play it on the XBOX. Not as good but still highly addictive.

Careful, make sure the word 'data' only get's spoken in the right thread 😉. I jest of course.

To answer the question, I know nothing on this new Brighton defender. Going to have a little look at him tomorrow but can't say I've heard or seen anything personally.

Thanks Joe, and apologies to anybody that take offence to the words "data or analytics" being used unwisely.

The longer the wait goes on, the more I am thinking we won't be signing a striker on a permanent. I've got a bad feeling he's going to rotate Dolan and Poveda down the middle as false nines.

Poveda and Khadra would give us options out wide too, meaning any of Gallagher, Butterworth, McBride or Brereton could be played centrally if Mowbray wants. I really hope he isn't looking at it like that and thinking we have enough options down the middle.

I think it will be the Brighton CB, a LB, Khadra and another CM, all on loan to close the window.

We've only got room for one more loan now, after the 2 Brighton lads come in. I'm hoping for a free left back, Longstaff on loan and a striker permanently.

Gallagher had an absolute stinker last night and it always amazes me whenever anyone says running about a bit is a more important attribute than the ability to score goals!

    🙂

Couldn't disagree more. I thought he was the best of our forward line. Offered so much more than Diaz and Dolan. His work rate really does go unnoticed.

    Hi all!

Some time ago, we used to run contributed match previews by you guys, and given the recent upgrade to the mb I feel it's high time we brought them back!

I'll list the fixtures below, I'll add any cup fixtures as they're announced, and just comment below which matches you would like to do! It'll be first come first serve, so get in quick!

Once allocated, you'll see your username placed next to the match, with the match crossed out. If for any reason you can't do one that you've committed to or you've asked for the wrong one, just let me know or comment below.

As matches pass, I'll remove them from the list.

For an example, see my West Brom Match Thread, or the myriad of wonderful and often side-splittingly funny previews in the site archives.
