  1. be criminal to put him in imo,he needs four or five games in the u23`s and then a few sub appearances in the first team before he`s ready
  2. i don`t think he`s that bad,we should send poveda and clarkson back, they are both shocking, not sure whats happening with khadra,he looked very lively on the only time iv`e seen him
  3. bloody hell, city are absolutely molesting utd
  4. i don`t doubt the players are still behind mowbray, they still carry out his inept tactics and team shape, thats the problem, there is`nt a strong personality amongst them,no one will stand up and say "boss, this is **** and your team shape is`nt working"
  5. pickering and ayala out, nyambe and gallagher doubtfull, tony`s bingo machine spinning like a centrefuge
  6. just found out that derek fazackerley turned 70 today, happy birthday faz, great header of a ball and superb organiser, you had to be well on your game to get anything out of faz and his centre back partner keeley🙂
  7. mowbray`s ego is huge imo, despite his humble persona,an angry crowd would wound him badly imo☺️
  8. that`s great, the mowbray regime don`t practice set pieces,he does`nt monitor players fitness levels, does`nt do any tactical work, shuffles about the touchline uninterested and now he does`nt appear to speak to his physio, just exactly what does he do,apart from spout bull**** and pick the side from a bingo machine,i think this is going to become the death spiral of all death spirals
  9. i was thinking that, typical mowbray picking someone who has`nt played for 12 months, should be carter,he was no worse than the rest of them on wednesday,if we don`t put in a performance mowbray is getting it from me,i don`t care how many happy clappers confront me,i`ll sort em all out, cmon you mowbray loving *****,lets ave it🤬😇
  10. i`ll do cartwheels in my boxers down livesey branch road😊
  11. id`e welcome it,anything to get rid of the indians
  12. at home, relieved that he was`nt/is`nt and never going to be part of mowbrays revolution
  13. i knew the game was up when i saw the line up ,buckley false nine and all that bollocks, tony`s promise of making life difficult for them was obviously a bare faced lie,he set us up to try and outfootball the best team in the league the stupid f**kwhit, smog breathing moron, whether or not van hecke deserved to be sent off is irrelevant,we`de have conceded just as many imo iv`e never been so embarrased since batty and le saux had their on pitch fight
  14. like the mods and rockers of the 60`s hooliganism was of it`s time,it had virtually disapeared by the late 80`s and when the acid house scene was going, potential hooligans were prefering ecstasy to alcohol, was better to hug everybody than to get your head kicked in,when the premier league marketed the game to a new audience it finished it off completely,i hav`nt seen any trouble for years
  15. mowbray says in the telegraph we ar`nt going to let fulham have their own way,iv`e kind of learned over the last five years that what tony says in the press and what he plans on the training ground are completely different,if we can take a point i`ll be well happy
  16. i remember a game over christmas in the early 80`s,i had a right moan at my dad for making us stand in the burnden paddock,he told me the shut it because it was going to kick off on the embankment sooner or later,lo and behold after 10 minutes, bottles, bits of loose terracing and the odd dart were flying between the two sets of "fans"im`e sure the old bill enjoyed it was well, battering a few hooligans, that was when ever copper was 6 foot tall and 4 foot wide of course and they did`nt take any ****😁
  17. a billy whitehurst podcast would be fantastic😆,love to see a garner one as well
  18. rothwell is certainly carrying an injury,he was struggling badly in the 2nd half on saturday, could`nt believe he was left on
  19. i see it like the old premier league days, when we used to play man utd, arsenal and liverpool etc,if you gave them time on the ball it would end badly,if you got in amongst them you had a chance of getting a result, they could`nt handle being tackled and harrased, they expected us to roll over and be thankfull for playing them, fulham, bournemouth and to a lesser extent west brom are the man utd, arsenal and liverpool of the division, they are miles ahead of everyone else,we must find a way of making it nasty for them, west brom battered us tbh and look what fulham did to them yesterday
  20. you really can`t go into this game trying to outfootball a far better team, got to make it difficult for them somehow, two banks of four, with a lone striker and another one dropping back into midfield when necessary, sit a bit deeper and generally make it niggly and don`t give them any room to get a rythm going, can`t see this approach being in mowbrays ethos but being expansive against a better team will see us lose badly
  21. was it 23 unbeaten league games??,agreed it was a brilliant season, the first season my friends and i were allowed to go on our own,the home against against villa was a particular highlight,a packed blackburn end ,archibald and garner destroying them😇
  22. i don`t think 4-3-3 is wise against this lot, need to be more compact ,if i was moggadon id`e flood the pitch with half the river darwen,it difficult to pass a football and adapt an agriculture approach to the game, these soft southerners don`t like it up em,hope he does`nt go to far with gushing praise for the opposition and set us up as sacrificial lambs
  23. lancashire minnows🤣 derby obviously a titan of english football and a massive giantkilling has occured, worldwide sporting headlines imminent
  24. i don`t think he`s that bad,imo ward is up there with chris brown, darren peacock and tony finnegan as being terminally useless at everything, for a big lad though his heading and hold up play are terrible, deffo needs time on the training ground,he was bloody expensive though,we could have a got a centre back and a striker for what we spent on him
  25. we got overrun in midfield 2nd half, derby were always going to up their level we got deeper and deeper as usual, rothwell was knackered, johnson tired(understandably) and travis kept giving the ball away, there should have been changes made to bolster the midfield,on the positive side, can hecke was immense, now he`s match fit, lenihan had a good game as well,so did buckley who did a good job at right back, looking forward to a real test on wednesday night,if we can get four points from the next two home games i`ll be getting "reet excited!!!!!!"
