  1. reading look less likely to score than us,which is quite an achievement🙂
  2. we are set up exactly the same as the first half against derby, though with different players,we don`t look like scoring at all
  3. im`e watching on onw of those dodgy streams, khadra is at wing back, gally is wide right ,though he keeps moving into the centre, rothwell is to deep as well, though on evidence so far ,reading are hopeless and are resorting to hopeful long balls that are being easily dealt with
  4. irish right back, signed recently, has played very well for the u23`s apparently
  5. if giles is going to put those great crosses/set pieces in surely gallagher must be playing centre forward
  6. id`e have started as we finished on tuesday night, but this is tony mowbray remember,he picks his side from a bingo machine
  7. id`e much rather have lenihan at right back,we know no one will get past him easily
  8. if we start as we did against derby we`ll be in big trouble, teams fighting against the drop always put 150% in,ince might be as tactically astute as a breezeblock but he`ll be geeing them up,we just don`t know how mowbray will have us set up,it would be logical to start with who finished on tuesday night but as we are all aware, mowbray does`nt do logical selection, personally i think he`ll start with buckley as a false nine with dack coming on in the 2nd half,be no surprise if gally is back out wide after his excellent performance
  9. i remember being in a fishing match on the canal near feniscowles, catch about two tiny roach, legged it to the van and got home just in time to watch us get outplayed😥,it was a nice day weather wise, thats the only positive about the day🙂
  10. leeds come from 2 down to beat wolves which is making burnleys exit from the top league more inevitable,it`s as if the football gods are frowning on their **** football and wastepit of a stadium, may they never reach such heights again and be thrust into the lower bowels of english football forever😀
  11. benson is mr clipboard,i guess he`s either inputting the subs information or trying to look important, probably the latter, considering he`s the goalkeeping coach i don`t understand why he has to strut about, should`nt he be sat in the stand getting a better view of kaminski,he should sort his kicking out as well,it`s gone downhill badly in the last few matches
  12. playing with two men up front,or one with the other in a free role gives you options, the false nine ******* relies on buckley/whoever to hold the ball up and be in the right place at the right time, personally we hav`nt got the personel to make it work, buckley could`nt finish his tea either, the lad has got a great eye for a killer pass but he can`t shoot and can`t run
  13. all we need to do is pick our best players in their correct positions, keep it tight for 20 minutes to shut their crowd up and then impose ourselves, tis a simple game is`nt it
  14. had the worst ever away trip there in the hughes era, soulless place in the middle of nowhere and a dreadful 0-0,you are miles away from reading and the ground is so nondescript it makes the dw stadium look an archetectural masterpiece on the game itself,i think mowbray will go back to the false nine b*****s,in the second half on tuesday,he`s seen a system that works so in typical tony logic,he`ll go back to one that does`nt,i expect to see buckley back in,gally on the bench(apparently he`s got a sore hamstring according to tony, though i`ve never seen anyone with a dodgy hamstring move as quickly as he did the other night) and giles back on the right, that quality cross he put in for the last goal was a flagrant display of flighty wingmanship and must be cut out🙂,hopefully we`ll manage to get a result, you just never know with these days with rovers
  15. we lack intensity as well imo, there have been numerous games against moderate opposition were we have failed to impose ourselves,we need to pick up the tempo from the start
  16. well it`s in our own hands, all we have to be is consistant against some poor sides and serve mowbray some reheated prawns for his dinner,he`ll be out for the season then🙂
  17. hopefully liverpool will run them ragged in the fa cup, nothing like a bad defeat to dent your confidence
  18. i think blackpool are a decent side, josh bowler especially is a very good player,id`e love him here
  19. their deluded fans( unfortunately i know a few)were proclaiming they were definately going to be in the play offs a couple of weeks ago🤣
  20. i pretty much agree with all of the above mowbray`s time here has been been very much like the rest of his management career, barring his first club hibs, where he had them challenging rangers and celtic,it`s been one good season then a gradual decline resulting in the sack, only swag and venky`s disinterest/cluelessness has kept him here, and the only way were are getting shut is if he himself decides to leave,i don`t think he`d get sacked if he took us into the bottom division tbh
  21. That interview though. Wow. He almost looks like he's having some sort of medical episode. I mean I'd expect something like that if we had lost but even then I'd expect anger rather than the look of exhaustion/weariness on his face. Head in hands, clearly unhappy, just like he was this time last year. Like he doesn't enjoy the job and doesn't want to be here. deffo a dressing room revolt at half time,we know tony does`nt like to be questioned over his methods,i think they all got on his case at half time, venus, lenihan, travis, gallagher(i expect he was hopping mad at johnson being up front) and knowing johnson is`nt a shrinking violet,he probably had a go as well for being made to look a right pillock
  22. im`e not to concerned about pickering, granted he`s not brilliant but he holds his own,we`ve got bigger problems at right back, jrc needs to be taken out of the firing line,i think this league is a bit above his ability tbh,if we do play a back four at reading, lenihan is ok there as a temporary measure, you certainly ar`nt going past him easily
  23. it`s not bile or vitriol, just deserved criticism
  24. iv`e got to disagree, any manager who puts an immobile 36 year old defensive midfielder in a striker position should`nt be in charge of a professional side,it`s not as if it`s an isolated incident either, remember gally at right back, dolan at wing back, armstrong out wide, brereton out wide,i could fill the page with various mowbrayisms,it`s a case of extremely nice man who`s not a very good coach
