  1. i predict 5.30-6.30 pm,tony decrees that other clubs are pushing the prices up and wages are an issue, also adds the right type of player never materialised
  2. bennett is f****d,he could barely walk let alone run on tuesday night, mowbray quoted during the christmas games his achilles is giving him problems,if he was fit he`d be a regular starter, you know mowbray and him have some massive bromance going on,tony can`t be away from him, hence he still gets a place on the bench at the side of his svengali, extremely unprofessional imo, picking an injured player who`s operating at 25% just because you like him
  3. An example of why names aren’t given out like sweets- John mcginn. Leaked and we lost out, we were 70% down the line with that one you really think john mcginn would sign for blackburn over aston villa?
  4. not wanting to be to harsh on mowbray,he`s most likely a nice fellow, but he`s dull,he`s a dull man with dull tactics, obviously dull in his negotiations, dull with his team selection and team talks,he`s dull when talking to the press, you might disagree but this is the most boring rovers side iv`e ever seen, despite our league position i think everybody knows hand on heart that it`s plastic progress, sooner or later we`ll go on another bad losing streak, most likely the reason we can`t negotiate our way out of a paper bag, once tony gets in on the talks (if he actually does)the player can`t wait to get away and sign for someone else
  5. no!!!! my van is up for it`s annual "lets see how much money we can make out of this fellow" test, never have much luck with them?
  6. can`t say that venkys did`nt back us last january, unfortunately tony or whoever is to blame spent 7 million quid on brereton, when full backs and a centre back were required, tbh if i was a venkys representitive id`e recommend you don`t spend anymore money,it just gets wasted,i think that is what is happening, would you give the club any money after seeing them blow 12 million quid
  7. i remember mowbray as a player, fantastic centre back, hard as nails and 1000% commited,he`s not my idea of a good manager though
  8. if it was up to me id`e give JRC a start, see what he can do over a full match, however i don`t think he`s been mowbrayed yet,so it`s unlikely he will get the nod,i`ve got a strange feeling that brereton will end up starting in rothwells position,in some f****d up formation,it`s what tony does?
  9. keep the same team, barring rothwell obviously, after tuesday mowbray surely can`t start bennett,he could barely move, who he puts in who could`nt guess,i think we`ll sneak a 0-1 victory in a tight, uninspiring game, got the dreaded mot on saturday so i`ll have to give this one a miss, was looking forward to going as iv`e never been to the riverside before
  10. lets face the facts, the budget has been blown on gallagher and brereton, there is no more money to spend, thus no incomings the rest of the season season, just tell us truth and stop sending mowbray out with false statements of intent
  11. because tony thinks he`s magnificent and he mows his lawn, cleans the kitchen and takes tony`s dog for a walk,
  12. bennett has`nt been fit and has a problem with his achilles,it looked like it`s still troubling him, mowbray just can`t help it can he!!!!!!!!!!
  13. who would you rather coach our goalies, flowers, high class keeper with over 400 top flight appearences or ben benson, played in a sunday league team and thats it,in fact id`e rather have any goalkeeping coach who`s played league football over someone who`s got his coaching badge by textbook
  14. travis was excellent tonight,so was lenihan, armstrong disappeared in the 2nd half unfortunately,it still makes me foam with anger seeing nyambe running up and down the wing with no outlet but to play it back, imagine the carnage if nyambe was backed up with a genuine wide player,he was fantastic as well tonight
  15. what was with the rothwell sub, genuinely injured??,though he looked ok to me or mysterious knock, which usually manifests when tony gets bennett withdrawal symptoms, rothwell was having a fine game tbh
  16. We really must have a crap budget if we are struggling to get anyone in. there must be some bargains going on the released or free transfer list
  17. all this talk of european scouting is pointless, for whatever reason,we can`t even arrange a loan deal or transfer from this country, mowbray in the telegraph, bemoans the difficulty in getting a deal done, ffs tony, other clubs don`t seem to have a problem, quite how you are going to get deals done from europe is beyond me
  18. You mean agents and other shady characters are having a say in the running of our club and impacting on who we sign? No chance. That would never happen surely. it would`nt be the first time would it?,though this time it`s more likely to venky`s and one of their indian ambassadors that are calling the shots on transfers
  19. i tell thee all, mowbray has no say in the transfer policy of incomings and outgoings,of course he/waggot won`t ever publicly admit it,it would make tony look a right lemon, ask yourself why a tactically cautious manager would blow 12 million quid on two strikers, one unproven and who appears to be a duckegg and the other who`s limited, never plays his correct role and won`t get you 15/20 goals a season,im`e of the opinion that tony will resign with a pay off at the end of the season
  20. Sheffield Wednesday have told Jordan Rhodes that he can leave the club for ‘free’ as long as his wages are met, we can reveal. And former club Blackburn Rovers are considering a move for the Owls frontman. Rhodes is a legendary figure at Ewood Park from his four-year spell, which ended in 2016 and saw him score 85 goals in 169 games. The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Norwich, but they did not sign him on a permanent deal and he returned to Hillsborough. However, he has been limited to just four starts this season and has been told he is surplus to requirements. if it`s true(which i doubt)it will be a disaster for rhodes,he needs a team that creates chances not one that tries to negate the opposition and plays with most of it`s personel out of position, god alone knows where mowbray would play him,i guess it would`nt be as a striker
  21. bit unfair on davenport,we`ve never really seen what he can do,same with chapman, though i suspect that`s more a case of mowbray not liking individuality
  22. this qpr lot won`t fancy a trip a midweek trip up north,i think we`ll take them apart with laser like precision, the question is,will tony keep an unchanged team and who will have picked up a mysterious "knock" in portugal in order to reinstate captain not so fantastic bennett
