  1. lol,i forgot about that one, might be a case of "tony has`nt got a clue who`s coming this january"
  2. goalkeeper, dominant centre back and left back and right back are what we desperately need, basically a whole new back four
  3. i find it a bit distressing that the way to gain a victory over us is to launch long balls over the top and then press us back ,we must be the weediest side in the whole football league, completely bullied today as we have been numerous times in the past, like iv`e stated before,we have far to many contented players, just turning up for their wages, look at the difference in effort and desire today,i was embarrased to be a rovers fan,can you imagine the likes of faz, keeley, todd, nelson, hendry, samba, batty, sherwood, flitcroft etc being pushed around like that
  4. rather more appropiate would be -we`ve a star man not playing on the right his name is harry chapman and mowbray thinks he`s shite
  5. i agree about chapman, however,i think tony would rather walk to hudderfield than pick him,he just does`nt like him
  6. tony has come up with so many different formations i think he`ll go completely rogue tommorow and play 3 up front, gallagher, brereton and armstrong, the holy trinity
  7. despite our decent recent form the club needs a good clearout,id`e release 7 or 8 of them, pay them off or listen to offers, samuel, gladwin, smallwood, hart, platt, grayson etc, they are never going to get in the side, clear the decks and get some fresh players in
  8. if he`s half as effective as scott then i`ll have no complaints just hope he avoids the mowbray curse of not taking it seriously enough,we should have a bloody fantastic u23 side with all the lack of seriousness in it!!!!
  9. it`s a big if,i would`nt trust mowbray to bring in the right players to push us on,he is`nt positive enough and his team selection makes me want to strangle him,i agree though in general,if we could manage to get in the play offs,we all know they are a lottery, anything could happen
  10. this is what you get with journeymen players, who are no doubt satisified with their effort, like iv`e stated before,we have to many of them, the likes of bennett, williams, bell and evans would be binned within a month under a fresh manager with ambition
  11. going to this one rather than forest away, new years day games are usually terrible due to teams being knackered from their christmas games, rather optimistically i`ll think we`ll pull off another bristol city type performance and win cosily
  12. bennett is nailed on for an extention, most likely another 3 years, mowbray can`t live without his inspirational captain,i suspect downing will get another year, won`t even try to figure out who`s going to get released, like trying to guess the weather next week
  13. bang on,unfortunately tony is terrified of playing football that will give them opportunities to score
  14. are you summising tosin is`nt injured and there is some other reason behind his abscence??
  15. get yourself down to ewood park for a fantastic second half of the season, join our play off push and support our dynamic squad to glory, remember, you are our 12th player, one lucky ticket no will go into a draw and gives the winner the chance for a day out behind the scenes with tony mowbray,to see how our manager devises tactics, gives the team talks and how he works out the opposition ewood park needs you, join the rest of the desponds, buy horrible snacks that are overpriced, watch journeymen pros try to pass a football, wonder at the amount of time a set piece does`nt end up in the box and for a bonus, join the the big money sweep stake that pays out huge dividends on the amount of passes that go backwards
  16. did`nt shearer do the same ligament,he was back in 6/7 months i think though a sad blow to our season imo,on an even gloomier note,iv`e just looked at the table and we could have been bang in the play off zone with two wins against mediocre sides we`ve just played, ffs will someone give mowbray an undercooked piece of turkey
  17. back on the counter attack for the huddersfield game might suit us better??though you never know with this group when a real horror show is going to manifest,i don`t think there is any leadership, barring lenihan, who should be captain and there are far to many who turn up for their wages and thats it,this side is not hungry
  18. to be brutally honest id`e give mowbray **** all,he was backed last year and spent the money on a striker we did`nt need instead of a centre back or left back we did need
  19. **** knows what mowbray will come up with for the next two games, there was nothing to be scared of on monday night and nothing to worry about today, what do we get, insipid ***** and dropped points
  20. got to realise, while he`ll keep us in the championship these tactics won`t take us anywhere in the long run,the game is about scoring goals after all
  21. lol,at least we look more solid at the back this year
  22. is it possible tony could go the dyche route that he took with burnley and bore us into the playoffs
