  1. Away at Birmingham was even worse Phil. I lost 7 hours of my life that I will never get back travelling to watch that shower.
  2. 1st half super. Mowbray had a lesson from Neil on tactics and motivation. Walton and Bennett are a liability. Armstrong is a disgrace, his crosses were pathetic. Sack the twat Mowbray.
  3. PNE had drainage, running hot and cold water and flushing toilets fitted about 2 years ago so all should be fine.
  4. The Jack Walker flag is kept in the stewards room in the DE. As for the others they are nowhere to be seen; I donated towards them so I hope they are still around and safe. We could always have them in the BBend. Mind you there is no atmosphere in that stand also.
  5. Just been chatting with a PNE mate and he reckons Bauer is their player of the season by a country mile. As for Holtby something smells, and is not Dack’s undies.
  6. If I can kick a long ball with direction at my advanced age then Walton should be able to ?
  7. Yes Greg is trying hard in challenging circumstances and it is difficult to milk the local community and business fraternity much more. There appeared to be about 8,500 home fans on v Huddersfield, there were vast swathes of empty seats around me in the JW that are normally occupied. If we do not improve on the field (where it matters most) the gates will continue to drop. We have already lost a net 700 ST holders this season and I can see the decline continuing sadly.
  8. JHR: I disagree that sacking was a poor decision, imo it should have been much earlier. As for the rest it is conspiracy theory, I leave that stuff for the politicians.
  9. He stopped 3 certain goals at Birmingham and his handling of crosses was superb. His kicking game and painfully slow distribution let’s him down - a decent coach can rectify this.
  10. SW is passionate about Rovers, he is desperate for Rovers to succeed. The appointment of TM worked to a point, it is now time to move on and build after a number of poor / dubious signings and bizarre formations and substitutions from Tony. I have no doubt if SW said to Pune we need to change the Manager they will listen - clearly you have a different, and your opinion valid, point-of-view.
  11. I have met Tony on a number of occasions. He is a lovely man, knowledgable and he has more integrity that our national politicians combined. i have many Boro supporting mates that say the same. However they all agree with me when they say he is not good enough to progress the team and they would not want him back to a man. He is loyal and that is a positive but it can also stand in the way of progress. It is time for an amicable parting and hopefully Mr Waggott is lining up a replacement now so the change is seamless. Do the right thing please SW and be decisive.
  12. Dreading this. Expecting a bizarre team and subs from Tony. 0-3 to the plastics from Moor Park. He will get sacked during the International break.
