    Glad you're enjoying it.

Nah, it's not up there with the greats, but still a good watch.

I'm halfway though season 3, so not long to go.

My favourite character is probably Gabi, Captain Eyov. I would not be messing with him. You'd end up in a solitary cell for a decade.

Oh have you seen unorthodox on Netflix ?

Not racism, just learnt off previous "honour" killings across the country with victims of very similar traits (young, female, Muslim, leading her own life).

Let's see and if it's just as you say I'll hold my hands up.  Not one shooting in Blackburn for 25 years.....

Bang in the middle of the car wash triangle . Def drugs .
Likely a couple or so families involved but I wouldn’t name as it would be speculative .  Prob not a coincidence a certain brand new property in the beardwood area has all its windows smashed in

A bit harsh! I thought it was a fabulous goal. He opened his body up and stroked it in.

I’ve watched it a few more times to see if I’m being harsh , he found space brilliantly , opened his body up .... and it pinged off his shin , .... but you have to get yourself in position to ping it off the shin

just dawned on me what a token measure the celebrations were as there was plenty of contact else where

The key to that goal was he made a great run to get into the position to score. Thereafter it doesn't matter if he made perfect contact or not or shinned it in, they all count.

2-0 now, the second was a good move.

I agree with all of that about the run but they were making out it was a superb finish , total shinner!!!
I missed the second goal as I started watching Blackburn Rovers 2008 on Bt3

I have no emotional investment in either side so it's hard to get too excited but I'd say the game itself is absolutely fine.

The highly rated Haaland has just scored for Dortmund to put them one up. The players have obviously worked extremely hard on coming up with a socially distanced goal celebration.

Also either the hairdressers are all open in Germany or the players' wives and partners are expert barbers as they all seem to have immaculately coiffeured barnets.

I noticed on holtbys insta he is pretty much doing as he pleases

Anyone else watch Charlie Brookers Antiviral wipe last night?

    Fantastic stuff.

I did not but I’ve followed his work since 1999 so will catch up later . I was watching the previously mentioned FAUDA

It builds from there. I almost bailed out after 2 episodes, (didn't help I watched episode 1 with the awful dubbing), thought I'll give it one more, and then I was hooked.

Watching now, Series 2, Episode 9, all sorts of drama going on.

I seem to get in a flap nowadays if I’m confused after 3 minutes and asking my wife . “Are we supposed to know who he is yet ?” But then I’m fine . No I like the feel of it . I’m going to tel aviv in the new year which gives it added interest

I dont like subtitled programmes. I can read well enough but subtitles are rarely translations. Theres often a lot more said than they put on the subtitles.

Yes that’s true, the ideal would be to speak every language fluently I can only do Spanish and some would argue my English is dubious but they are still such an improvement on dubbing .
what you say though , some languages have things that can’t be translated , the Germans I’m sure you know are ever so literal . Have you ever seen the Japanese film ‘ring ‘? There’s a bit that refers to a Japanese legend about a horse , in the American remake they literally just show a horse

For anyone that can handle foreign language and subtitles, I've just got into this show.

    Fauda.jpg

I'm currently halfway through the 3 seasons. It's excellent.

Gets 100% from Rotten Tomatoes.  To put that in perspective other shows that score 100% are: 24, Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad and Fargo.

Tip: In Uk it will be set to dubbed audio. Switch it to Arabic and use subtitles only. You have to hear the inflections in their voices to appreciate the tone and emotion.  (And dubbing is just generally awful).

Watched a couple . Has promise so far .
people who won’t watch subtitles? Oh it’s called reading you should try it if you can

  12. The stokes new album is a return to form imo . Well you won’t beat reptilla and is this it .
There are  a few bands I’ll always love , Radiohead , nirvana etc

some new great stuff tho , newish anyway , murder capital , pigx7  protomartyr , Ezra furman , viagra boys , Ho99o9

running recently I’ve gone back to fabric and global underground Mixes

Now this is showing off but I saw it at a tiny indie cinema in Nottingham with some uni mates who did film studies . They brought their mates shame meadows and Andrew shim ( while Romeo brass was in production )

Yeah caught 30 mins of City of God once, and was gripped.  Always meant to go back and do entire thing but never got round to it.

You're supposed to be watching Topboy Summerhouse before Season 1 episode 1.

I was thinking of ‘bitches !!!’
